Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake Feud Sparks WWE Raw Drama in Los Angeles

K-Dot’s feud with Drizzy was mentioned on WWE Raw by Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in his hometown.

Kendrick Lamar’s feud with Drake had crawled its way into the WWE Raw’s first Netflix episode with The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods taking some final shots at the Compton rapper in his hometown.

During the villainous interview segment, Woods made fire by saying, “Think about it: for the last six months, y’all have been elevating this trash rapper Kendrick Lamar,” which drew loud boo. Kingston added, “Yeah, boo him! We think he sucks, too. Bye! So you not mad at us- you’re mad at Kendrick Lamar because Drake won the beef. ” and helped raise the jeers further from the audience in Los Angeles.

These back-and-forth lighthearted jabs made another tie-up during the ongoing Drake-Kendrick rivalry between hip-hop and wrestling. Last year, great wrestling star Shawn Michaels invited both rap superstars to settle their beef in what Michaels tweeted: “A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way. @ kendricklamar, you and @Drake are formally invited to #WWENXT to settle this thing.”

Michaels’ challenge was a reference to Kendrick’s infamous diss track “Not Like Us,” where Kendrick dropped Michaels’ sweet signature move: “Sweet Chin Music and I won’t pass the aux, aye.”

This moment in the WWE keeps the relevant excitement alive among the fans across such different areas as shifting venues of battle between Drake and Kendrick.
