K-Dot’s new album is doing big numbers

Kendrick Lamar’s album titled GNX is all set to be the hottest release of the coming year, 2024, and “Squabble Up,” his much-awaited song after a long wait, is leading the charge.

The track, which was first teased to the fans in July, is said to debut at the number-one spot on the Billboard Hip-Hop charts. Released on Friday (Nov. 22), the track has already conquered the Apple and Spotify charts.

The first teaser fans saw of “Squabble Up” was in the first few seconds of the music video for Lamar’s Grammy-nominated hit, “Not Like Us,” where the catchy intro verse, “Woke up looking for the broccoli,” became an instant favorite.

The song has captured the YouTube audience with over 3.2 million views and counts on Spotify with well over 14 million streams and is a sample from one of Debbie Deb’s 80s music.
