King Von pushes his album back

Three days ago, King Von announced that he’d be releasing his latest album Welcome To OBlock on this Friday, October 9th, but there have been a few changes made. The highly anticipated project will be the Chicago native’s third studio album, and will now arrive on October 30.

A few hours ago, the How It Go rapper tweeted updates on Welcome To OBlock and it’s clear we aren’t getting the album on this weekend. Von revealed that he is going to drop the project at the end of the month, October 30th, which happens to be the birthday of his fallen friend T Roy.

He is the same friend King Von pays homage to with his social profile pics and username(V Roy). T Roy was shot and killed in Chicago in 2017 while Von was in jail on murder charges.

“Last Night I had a Dream about my Right Hand Mans @oblock_savage ❤️ folks Bday coming up I gotta Drop that Hot Shit on his Bday it’s only right. Oct 30th ???. Video dropping tomorrow for y’all fashooo.” wrote King Von captioning multiple photos of him with his late friend.

Thus far, Von has dropped two singles: “How It Go,” and “All These Ni**as” with Lil Durk.

Von also announced that he will be releasing a video with New York rapper Fivio Foreign. He shared a photo of him(King Von) posted with Fivio and their entourage. “Me and @FivioForeign dropping tomorrow? Yall ready?”
