Share

Baby & Gunna continue to hit new milestones with their approximately three-year-old record

“Drip Too Hard,” one of the most successful collaborations from Lil Baby and Gunna, has been certified 9× platinum by RIAA, after selling over 9 million copies. The record is only a million units away from hitting diamond certification.

Produced by Turbo, the track was released in September 2018, as the lead single for Baby and Gunna’s collaborative mixtape, Drip Harder, that arrived the following month. The single peaked at number 4 on Billboard Hot 100, becoming Gunna’s first top 10 hit and Lil Baby’s second.

Drip Harder debuted at number 4 on Billboard Hot 200 album chart after moving 130K album-equivalent units in the first week of release. The project was also streamed over 134 million times, making it the most-streamed project in that week.

Lil Baby is currently gearing up to drop their joint effort with Lil Durk, The Voice of the Heroes. According to reports, the 4PF and OTF leaders pushed back their album release date in respect to the late DMX, whose estate is dropping his first posthumous album, Exodus on May 28.
