7220 is a decade into his career, but Durk’s energy resembles that of a new artist
Lil Durk‘s 7220 album has moved a total of 120K equivalent units within its first week of release. These impressive numbers have earned him the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
This isn’t Durk’s first time sitting in this position (first time with Lil Baby for ‘The Voice of the Heroes’ album).

Durk, 29, is proud of the decade-long, and still thriving, run he’s having in his career. He shared the news of his album going number one on Instagram.
“I got a real #1 album,” the Chicago rapper began. “I came a long way and really ain’t supposed to be here. I been here 10years and I still feel like a new artist. I thank my team and thank my label and the fans… PS a real #1 not a fake one,” he finished his captioned.
Durkio hasn’t stopped his run of music output just yet, as he’s unleashed a quiet deluxe of his 7220 album, which now kicks off with the latest track, “Computer Murderers.” “I’m like Steph, I can’t miss,” he tweeted.
