Tjay headlines his first concert since June shooting
Lil Tjay is back and outside! The Bronx native headlined his first post-shooting concert on Sunday night (December 11) at The Novo in Los Angeles. The rapper performed several songs including Pop Smoke’s “Mood Swings.” At one point, Tjay brought out his buddy and collaborator, Polo G, with whom they performed their breakout 7x platinum hit, “Pop Out,” as well as “Headshot.”
The “Give You What You Want” artist also called up Diddy’s son, King Combs, who performed his Kodak Black-assisted track “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop.”
Tjay survived a nearly fatal shooting in June when he was hit seven times during an attempted robbery in Edgewater, New Jersey. Two months later, the 21-year-old returned with the Billboard Charts single, “Beat The Odds,” in which he addressed the shooting. In November, he delivered another cut, the aforementioned tender and melodic, “Give What You Want.”
