Madlib & Gibbs have another one on the way

Madlib and Freddie Gibbs have another collab album in the works. While celebrating the tenth anniversary of their first joint album Pïnata at New York’s The Rooftop at Pier 17, Madlib revealed that a new album from the duo titled Montana is on the horizon.

“Y’all ready for Freddie Gibbs?” Madlib asked the audience. “About to drop this live shit on y’all. Montana next up.”

The producer-rapper partners joined forces for Pïnata in 2014 with features from Raekwon, Scarface, Mac Miller, Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, Ab-Soul, Domo Genesis, BJ The Chicago Kid, Casey Veggies, Meechy Darko and others.

They followed it up with Bandana released in 2019.
