Youngboy adds two more RIAA plaques to his collection

Louisiana native NBA Youngboy piles up a pair of RIAA certifications onto his huge heap of plaques. Chart Data reported on Tuesday (November 8) that YB’s albums Sincerely Kentrell and The Last Slimeto have been certified platinum and gold respectively, by Recording Industry of America Association (RIAA).

Sincerely, Kentrell was released in September 2021 as the 23-year old’s third studio album. Without any guest appearances, the project debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 137k units sold. The album was followed by The Last Slimeto in August 2022 with features from Kehlani, Rod Wave, and Quavo. It emerged at #2 with 108k units.
