  • Kim Kardashian Shares Tracklist for What Appears to be a Kanye Album

Kim Kardashian Shares Tracklist for What Appears to be a Kanye Album

Kim Kardashian took to her Twitter to shares a list of songs (12 to be exact), under the name Jesus Is King. While we have a lot of reasons to believe this is a “tracklist” for a Kanye West album, perhaps the date September 27th being written at the bottom isn’t enough.

It was recently discovered that Kanye’s YANDHI album leaked online. Which even in its incomplete form, catches Kanye in creative rhythm. As for this new “album,” it looks like it will serve as an extension of his Sunday Service. There aren’t any features yet revealed for the project.

    Jesus Is King tracklist:

    1. CLADE.
    2. GARDEN.
    3. SELAH.
    4. GOD IS.
    5. BAPTISED.
    6. SIERRA CANYON.
    7. HANDS ON.
    8. WAKE THE DEAD.
    9. WATER.
    10. THROUGH THE VALLEY.
    11. SUNDAY.
    12. SWEET JESUS.

  • Lil Wayne to Release ‘Funeral’ Album Before end of the Year

Lil Wayne to Release ‘Funeral’ Album Before end of the Year

Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter V was released almost a year ago. It’s now time for the YMCMB head honcho to begin releasing new music.

Wayne recently spoke with New Orleans’ radio station Q93, and said his album Funeral has been finished. Wayne plans on releasing the album before the end of the year. Although there isn’t a specific month, there’s only four months left in the year.

“My album’s always done,” Wayne stated in the interview. “It just takes Mack to come in there to rack up a couple of songs and name them. That’s how it go round here. I work every day. It just takes them to come in and say ‘let me get these twenty songs, can I have these and name them, and we go from there.”

As we look to have the album at our streaming demand before the end of the year, maybe Wayne will be generous with new singles and features.

  • Brockhampton embraces the “boy band” persona more than ever on ‘Ginger’

Brockhampton embraces the “boy band” persona more than ever on ‘Ginger’

    Ginger cover art

It seems like the always-evolving group Brockhampton never stops to rest. Ginger, the latest effort by the self-proclaimed boy band, is already this group’s fifth album to be released in the last two and a half years. One thing I have always appreciated about these guys is the fact that every album is so different; not only does all of their album have different underlying themes and meanings, every album pushes the envelope sonically in a way that is more intense than most other hip hop artists that are making music these days.

On Ginger, Brockhampton seems to embrace a softer and more sweet side than they have in the past, with quite a few pop/R&B cuts that remind me of boy bands like LANY or AJR. Of course, because of artists like Joba and Merlyn, this record has plenty of intense moments as well; fans of the weird hardcore hip hop that Brockhampton has tended to make in the past will not be disappointed. Overall, Brockhampton continues to show why they are so unique on Ginger, but they are continuing to find a way to make their weirdness more accepted in the mainstream.

  • Mac Miller’s mixtape ‘K.I.D.S.’ will soon be available on streaming services

Mac Miller’s mixtape ‘K.I.D.S.’ will soon be available on streaming services

A lot of rappers who released critical acclaimed mixtapes during the blog era have been moving their music to streaming recently and the latest mixtape coming to streaming platforms is Mac Miller’s 2010 ‘K.I.D.S’, founder of Rostrum Records, Benjy Grinberg, announced that Mac Miller’s breakout mixtape, K.I.D.S., will be on streaming services later this year.

Grinberg made this announcement via Instagram on Tuesday (Aug. 13) , the ninth anniversary of K.I.D.S.’ release.

Benjy Grinberg, founder of Rostrum Records wrote on Instagram

“On this 9th anniversary of the first tape that Mac and Rostrum put out together, I’m excited to announce that “K.I.D.S.” will be available on all streaming services later this year! After Macadelic came out, Mac asked if we could clear this one next. It has been challenging but we are getting through it. We miss Mac every day and we see our job as making sure his music lives on. We love you, Mac.”

Stream YBN Cordae’s new album ‘The Lost Boy’

    YBN Cordae The Lost Boy

YBN Cordae has finally dropped his very highly anticipated debut album, and it is called The Lost Boy. After his fellow YBN crew member YBN Nahmir got a lot of major publicity last year from a couple of viral singles and an XXL Freshman selection, Cordae slowly started to take the rap game by storm, releasing various great singles on his YouTube.

Cordae has been praised for his incredibly diverse, complicated, and introspective lyricism; he has a lyrical talent that can definitely be prepared with the likes of JID, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. The Lost Boy has quite a few high profile features, Arin Ray, Chance the Rapper, Ty Dolla $ign, Pusha T, Meek Mill, and Anderson.Paak all give contributions to the rising star’s debut album. From what I have heard so far from this record, it is totally worth the hype. If you a big hip hop fan(which I would assume you are if you are reading this), you should stream The Lost Boy right now!

  • Stream Maxo Kream’s debut studio album ‘Brandon Banks’

Stream Maxo Kream’s debut studio album ‘Brandon Banks’

    Brandon Banks

After releasing Punken last year, one of the best slept-on rap albums of 2018, the Houston trap star is back with another record. Brandon Banks is the debut studio album for Maxo after signing with Roc Nation earlier this year.

Maxo’s phenomenal storytelling ability is very prominent on this record; it’s a gritty look into what being a Houston trapper is really like. Brandon Banks has a bunch of awesome features; Megan thee Stallion, Schoolboy Q, A$AP Ferg, KCG Josh, and Travi$ Scott all provide excellent contributions to the record. This is one of my favorite rap albums of the year so far, and I highly recommend it to fans of Dirty South trap music. If you want to stream Maxo Kream’s excellent record, Brandon Banks, check it out here!
