Court of Appeal Upholds Nipsey Hussle’s Killer’s Conviction
Eric Holder, the murderer of the famous rapper Nipsey Hussle, appealed his conviction of 2022 – due to some complications with the trial. However, California’s Court of Appeal has now denied his appeal.
On Tuesday (November 5), the judges of the court’s Second District confirmed the decision following the conviction of Holder.
The appeal concerned two main aspects. First, Holder contended that the trial judge erroneously cut off part of his counsel’s closing speech, which asked the jury to consider what was in Holder’s mind when he pulled the trigger. The appeals court found otherwise, holding that such conjecture was properly ruled out because, unlike most defendants, Holder did not take the stand in his defense.
