50 Cent Expands TV Empire to the UK with Launch of ‘50 Cent Action’ Channel

The rapper-turned-mogul brings curated action content and new business ventures to international audiences

50 Cent has announced the international expansion of his successful TV channel, 50 Cent Action, bringing it to the UK as a subscription-based service.

Originally launched in the U.S. in December and free to watch on Roku, the channel has quickly risen through the ranks, landing in the top 5% of over 500 Roku channels. Now, UK audiences can access the service for £3.99 per month, with curated programming that includes films starring 50 himself, such as Righteous Kill, The Expendables 4, and 13, along with content from Lionsgate’s extensive library and episodes from the rapper’s acclaimed Power franchise.

Speaking to Deadline, 50 shared his enthusiasm: “Everybody loves London… I have a huge audience here that hasn’t been able to participate with us. Now they get a chance to see it.”

In addition to the UK launch, 50 Cent is expanding his business empire with plans to convert the Stageworks building in Shreveport, Louisiana, into a multi-use sports and entertainment venue. Leased for just $200 per month, the facility will host events ranging from concerts to combat sports.

With streaming and real estate moves, 50 Cent’s empire shows no signs of slowing down.

Pusha T Blasts Travis Scott Over Loyalty Issues: ‘He’s a Whore’

Clipse rapper accuses Travis of betrayal and siding with Drake in Pharrell feud

Pusha T has unleashed a scathing attack on Travis Scott, calling the Houston rapper a “whore” and accusing him of disloyalty, manipulation, and shady behavior within the industry.

In a new GQ interview, Pusha confirmed that his controversial bars on Clipse’s song “So Be It” weren’t aimed at Kanye West, as many believed, but rather at his former GOOD Music labelmate, Travis Scott. The tension stems from Scott’s involvement in Drake’s “Meltdown,” where Drake took aim at Pharrell Williams — Pusha’s longtime friend and collaborator.

According to Pusha, the drama started in Paris: “We were in Pharrell’s studio, and Travis came through all smiles. He wanted to play us his new album, filming everything… but conveniently left out Drake’s verse.” A week later, Pusha heard the diss — and felt blindsided.

“He’s done this before,” Pusha said, referencing “Sicko Mode,” where Drake dissed Kanye West. “He has no picks. He’ll do this with anybody. He’s a whore.”

Pusha didn’t hold back, criticizing Scott’s loyalty and integrity: “That filthy quality… that lack of loyalty. Travis really has that. He’s proven it.”

Travis Scott has not responded to the remarks.

Lil Wayne’s Son Claims His Father Wrote “Most” of Drake’s Lyrics

Novi Carter says Drake wouldn’t be where he is without Weezy

Lil Wayne’s son, Novi Carter, has sparked controversy after claiming his father ghostwrote “most” of Drake’s lyrics during an interview with YouTuber TrillMarty.

Novi didn’t mince words: “My dad wrote most of [Drake’s] shit. I mean, on God. Like, if it wasn’t for my pops, there wouldn’t be no Drake. I mean, there probably would be a Drake, but he wouldn’t be where he’s at, though.” He quickly added, “No disrespect to Drake. He hard.”

While the younger Carter didn’t name specific tracks allegedly written by Lil Wayne, his comments have stirred debate online about Drake’s songwriting credibility — a topic that has shadowed the Canadian rapper throughout his career.

Neither Lil Wayne nor Drake have addressed the claims, but both artists have consistently expressed admiration for each other. Drake has referred to Wayne as a mentor and idol, once saying, “I still get nervous speaking about this man… he’s still my idol.”

Wayne, for his part, has defended Drake publicly, even joking about the rapper’s critics: “He red, he light-skinned… that’s just American history.”

Whether Novi’s comments were exaggerated or not, they’ve reignited one of hip-hop’s oldest debates — who’s really writing the bars?

50 Cent Defends Tyler Perry Against Sexual Assault Allegations

Fif’ backs media mogul amid $260M lawsuit filed by former actor

50 Cent has come to the defense of longtime friend Tyler Perry after the filmmaker was hit with a $260 million lawsuit alleging sexual assault and harassment.

The suit was filed by actor Derek Dixon, who claims Perry subjected him to ongoing harassment and professional retaliation after rejecting the director’s alleged advances. Dixon worked on several of Perry’s TV productions and now accuses the media mogul of escalating misconduct.

Perry has strongly denied the accusations through his legal team, calling the case a “scam” and a “shakedown attempt.” His attorney said, “This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry for what now appears to be nothing more than setting up a scam. But Tyler will not be shaken down and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail.”

In response, 50 Cent took to Instagram to show his unwavering support. “Did that b!tch just say what I think he said? Nah, we ain’t jacking this shit gang! No way,” he wrote.

He later added in a joking post featuring Katt Williams: “Tyler that case bullshit don’t worry about that… he [Williams] gonna have a field day with this.”

Despite his humor, 50 made his loyalty clear: “Hey I think anyone who talks bad about Tyler Perry should die… you should die now!”

SZA Opens Up About Insecurity on Tour with Kendrick Lamar

The singer admits she feared fans were only showing up for Kendrick during Grand National run

SZA has candidly shared her initial fears and insecurities while co-headlining the Grand National tour with Kendrick Lamar, revealing that she once believed fans only attended shows to see her fellow TDE labelmate.

Speaking in a revealing interview with Interview Magazine, the “Kill Bill” hitmaker admitted she struggled with anxiety at the start of the tour. “Every time I had to go on stage or walk a carpet, I’d have full-on panic attacks,” she said. “I used to skip events thinking, ‘No one cares that I’m here.’”

Her doubts followed her into the tour with Kendrick, who has also drawn major attention for performing his Drake diss “Not Like Us” during their Toronto stop — the rapper’s first visit since the high-profile feud erupted. “Everybody’s going to see Kendrick,” SZA said. “I didn’t know if I had anything worth showing.”

Thankfully, she now feels more confident: “I want to walk through the door. I want to see what happens in the uncertainty.”

Meanwhile, Drake reportedly postponed a planned livestream in response to the show, later lashing out at a Toronto politician for attending Kendrick’s performance.

Coke La Rock: Hip-Hop’s First Emcee to Appear Live in Atlanta

The Legacy of Coke La Rock

Coke La Rock emerged from the Bronx in the early 1970s alongside DJ Kool Herc, widely credited as the originator of hip-hop DJing. While Kool Herc spun breakbeats, Coke La Rock provided the live commentary with spontaneous rhymes, crowd interaction, and the earliest iterations of what would become rap lyrics. Though he never recorded commercially during hip-hop’s formative years, his influence is felt in countless early MCs, and he is cited by artists such as KRS-One as a true founding father of the genre.

La Rock is best known for his signature crowd lines like, “You rock and you don’t stop,” and his presence at the genre’s first parties helped shape what is now a multi-billion-dollar global industry.

As highlighted in a recent NewsNation article, Coke La Rock is hailed as an unsung hero of hip-hop, the man who was there at the very beginning, spitting rhymes before rap even had a name. At a time when segregation and systemic racism were still deeply woven into American life, La Rock helped break racial barriers by bringing Black and Latino youth together through music, setting the stage for hip-hop’s rise as a unifying cultural force. Offset Defends Drake Amid Ongoing Criticism: “All That Hating Is Diabolical”

Set calls out T-Pain and others taking shots at the 6 God

Offset has stepped into the conversation surrounding Drake’s recent wave of criticism, voicing his support for the Toronto superstar and taking aim at what he sees as unnecessary hate.

Though Offset stayed silent during Drake’s high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar, he recently broke his silence via Instagram, posting a passionate defense:
“Da Boy is da boy, shit ain’t gone change. All dat hating on another grown man who do more numbers than everybody is Diabolical !!!!”
His comment appeared to be a direct response to recent remarks by T-Pain, who’s been critical of Drake on the Crash Dummies podcast.

T-Pain criticized Drake for not gracefully stepping back from the spotlight, referencing an old Drake quote about bowing out without being pushed out:
“Drake said, ‘I wanna be one of them people that gracefully bow out and not get kicked out.’ But now he’s like, ‘Hold on, check this out. Let me try one more.’”

Drake responded swiftly, accusing T-Pain of long-standing resentment:
“This guy always had resentment for me [laughing emoji]. You can hear it every time he speaks on my name.”

Tensions between the two artists have simmered for some time, with T-Pain previously claiming that Drake’s collaborative project with PartyNextDoor, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, was filled with leftover material. Offset’s defense now adds a new layer to the discourse, standing firmly in Drake’s corner as criticism mounts.

  • JAY-Z Joins Beyoncé On Stage in Paris

JAY-Z Joins Beyoncé On Stage in Paris

Surprise Performance Marks First Live Appearance Together in Six Years

JAY-Z made a surprise appearance at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour stop in Paris over the weekend, thrilling fans during the final night of her three-show run in the French capital. The iconic couple, who haven’t shared the stage since 2018, reunited to perform their timeless hits “Crazy in Love” and a mash-up of “Drunk in Love” and “Partition.” Jay also delivered a solo performance of “N-ggas in Paris,” notably without Kanye West.

While the moment celebrated musical unity, it came against a backdrop of tension involving former collaborator Kanye West. The Chicago rapper, once a close ally of both artists, recently posted on X expressing regret and a desire to apologize to JAY-Z. “All my dreams have been about apologizing to Jay Z,” he wrote, signaling a possible attempt to reconcile.

However, the path to forgiveness may be complicated. Earlier this year, West faced severe backlash for offensive comments targeting JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s children. Despite deleting the posts, his remarks drew widespread condemnation.

Neither JAY-Z nor Beyoncé have publicly responded to West’s statements. For now, the Carters seem focused on their artistry—delivering unforgettable moments for fans worldwide.
