Pharrell wasn’t concerned by Drizzy’s subliminals

Pharrell has finally spoken up about Drake buying his old jewels and causing a stir by rapping about melting them down on Travis Scott’s song “Meltdown.”

In the latest GQ issue dated November 13, the music producer and Louis Vuitton menswear’s creative director spoke about the 2022 auction in which he had sold a number of jewels to which Drizzy bought some.

“You never realize how much all the stuff you have weighs on you, but it does. You don’t know it until you get rid of it,” Skateboard P explained. “When you let that go, man, you feel so free.”

When asked if Drake’s threats to melt down the jewelry he bought got to him, Pharrell replied: “It didn’t.”
