In January 1995, Rap Jam: Volume One was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, making it the first hip-hop video game. Rap Jam: Volume One was developed by 64WD Creation and featured Warren G, Coolio, Naughty by Nature, House of Pain, Public Enemy, Queen LatifahLL Cool J, Yo-Yo and Onyx playing one-on-one on the streets of five different cities. Every rapper in the game had their own special move, no fouls were called and there is a tournament mode in the game. A second volume of Rap Jam was never released.
