Rapper also celebrates becoming co-owner of UK football club Swansea City
Snoop Dogg has revealed his full support for his wife Shante Broadus’ latest business venture — a strip club in Los Angeles called The Players Club.
During a recent appearance on the It’s Giving podcast, the rap icon spoke candidly about his reaction when Shante told him she bought the club. “It shocked me,” Snoop admitted. “I was like, ‘A strip club? Oh wow, honey, I’ll support it.’”
He went on to explain how he shows that support: “What do I do? I say, ‘What the hell is you doing?!’ I support. I show up. I throw money in the air. You understand what I’m saying? I support you! Because she supported me when I was going through something… that I felt like was fun and fly.”
Snoop’s entrepreneurial streak doesn’t stop at strip clubs. He recently announced his stake in Welsh football team Swansea City, saying in a video: “I’m not a player, I’m an owner… Swansea City, baby, let’s go!”
In a statement, Snoop added: “This is a proud, working class city and club. An underdog that bites back, just like me. I’m proud to be part of Swansea City.”
