Snoop Dogg is showing major love to SZA and Keke Palmer’s new film One of Them Days, calling it an “exceptional movie.” On January 22, the iconic rapper shared his thoughts on Instagram, praising the film and its talented cast, which also includes producer Issa Rae.
“Just got back from seeing Just One of Them Days, and it was an exceptional movie,” Snoop wrote. “Shout out to Keke and SZA, Issa Rae, and the whole cast. Real good movie. We need some good shit right now. Black girls rule the world. Great job.”
SZA and Palmer recently appeared together on the popular YouTube series Hot Ones, where Palmer playfully put SZA on the spot about her past fling with Drake. The actress jokingly asked if the rapper was “a good kisser,” leading to an amusing exchange. SZA laughed it off, recalling their relationship in a lighthearted way, confirming that they were both “children” back in 2009.
Snoop’s enthusiastic support of the film is another endorsement of the duo’s growing influence in Hollywood.
