Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy Attend Trump’s First-Ever Crypto Ball

Unlikely guests at pro-Trump event, including Snoop, surprise fans with appearances

Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy were among the high-profile guests at the first-ever Crypto Ball, a star-studded party held to welcome the incoming administration of Donald Trump. The event took place on January 17 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., and was hosted by David Sacks, the Silicon Valley investor appointed by Trump as the “White House A.I. and Crypto Czar” last month.

The exclusive party, which cost attendees between $2,500 and $5,000, was media-free, but footage from the event surfaced showing Snoop Dogg proudly declaring, “They let a real Crip up in the Crypto Ball.” His attendance at a pro-Trump event raised eyebrows, especially given his strong criticism of artists who performed for Trump during his first inauguration in 2017.

Snoop’s shift in stance toward Trump occurred after the former president commuted the prison sentence of Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris in his final days in office. Snoop, who played a role in advocating for Harris’ release, expressed gratitude for Trump’s decision, signaling a more conciliatory relationship between the two.

Other artists, including Nelly, Rod Wave, Kodak Black, and Fivio Foreign, are also reportedly set to attend Trump-themed events surrounding the inauguration.
