The following month – February, law enforcement apprehended two people: Ali, who was hit with seven charges including accessory after the fact, and multiple others for drug possession.

Ali, 22, was later released in late March and was placed under strict house arrest with an ankle bracelet. Authorities told the Toronto Star Ali to cut off his ankle monitor after being asked to render himself to the police.

Law enforcement released a statement pointing out that Ali is wanted for first-degree murder, and three counts for failure to comply with recognizance. “He is believed to be violent and dangerous. Do not approach. Call 911 immediately.”

Top5 has been name-dropped by Drake a couple of times, including in a 2014 Instagram post that led to the rapper’s record “Shirt Off Shawty” to blow up. Drizzy shouted him out again in his track “Grammys,” off his 2016 album, Views.
