    Meek Mill has plans to build a music platform in 2021; taking majority ownership

    Meek Mill wants to connect with an app builder for new music platform, and he wants to be a majority owner of the company, along with Lil Baby, Lil Durk and 21 Savage.

    Meek wants to get started on this idea as soon as 2021. So far, there aren’t more details about the music platforms, and perhaps that’s staying under wraps, for now, until Meek has the technical side (finding someone to build his platform/app) sorted out.

    In this day and age, there’s plenty of money to be made outside of music, but there’s also money to be made inside of the music industry. Then, there are the ideas found in the middle of music and outside forces — even diving into Silicon Valley, as Meek is attempting to do.

    Not a cold case: man charged and arrested for murder of Terrell Davis

    A tragedy struck 21 Savage’s family a week ago when Terrell Davis, Savage’s younger brother, was stabbed to death in Blenheim Gardens estate in the district of Brixton. Thankfully, there’s some hope for justice. Daily Mail recently reported that an arrest has been made in connection to the killing. According to the reports, one 21-year-old Tyrece Fuller, of Lambeth, has been arrested and is due to appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

    Davis was an aspiring drill rapper in the UK and performed under the name TM1way. It is allegedly that he was taking shopping to his elderly grandmother before encountering someone he knew. After getting into an argument with the old friend, Davis was fatally stabbed and was later pronounced dead at the scene. He was 27 at the time of his death.

    21 Savage shared his shock and disbelief on Instagram, posting an emotional statement along with a childhood photo of them. Rest in peace Terrell Davis.

    21 Savage is grieving the loss of his brother

    Atlanta rapper 21 Savage is grieving after his 27-year-old brother was stabbed to death in Blenheim Gardens estate in the district of Brixton, on Sunday night. 21 took to Instagram to share the shocking news, with a childhood photo of him and his brother, and another as an adult. “Can’t believe somebody took you baby bro I know I took my anger out on you I wish I could take that shit back.” wrote the ‘Savage Mode’ rapper.


    According to Daily Mail, the victim’s name was Terrell Davis. He was also a drill rapper who went by the moniker TM1Way. It is reported that Davis entered into an argument with an alleged friend before he was stabbed and killed.

    Rest in peace to Davis, may God be with Savage and his family.

    21 Savage & Metro Boomin’s ‘Savage Mode 2’ to debut at number one

    Metro Boomin and 21 Savage aim for number one

    This week will be a great one for Saint Laurent Don and Young Metro. Metro Boomin and 21 Savage released their second joint project Savage Mode 2 a week ago. The pair released the first mixtape of the series in 2016, and clearly, both the rapper and the producer have been working and improving on their talents. Savage Mode 2 has been getting a lot of praise and rotation.


    21 Savage has since dropped two videos off the album. He released a video for Runnin a week ago and that of My Dawg two days ago. Both videos combined have raked about 11 million views on YouTube in just a few days. Slaughter Gang and Boominati fans have also been running up the album streaming numbers. The joint album is expected to debut at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 album chart, with over 173k copies sold in the first week. These are the highest first week numbers for
    both artists.

    Savage Mode 2 was flavored with Morgan Freeman’s voice, giving the album a very pleasurable vibe. Freeman also appeared on the album trailer which helped promote the piece of art. Metro Boomin has even been on Twitter shouting Morgan Freeman out.

    Savage Mode II aiming for no. 1 first week

    21 Savage and Metro Boomin‘s Savage Mode II has been the talk of the weekend. 21 and Metro took their time with this release. It’s been four years since the two put together the second edition, and it looks like it’ll be a no. 1 album release, according to the projected numbers.

    Savage Mode II is projected to debut at no. 1, with 170-195K units. Bryson Tiller’s Anniversary album is projected to sell 75-85k in its opening week.

    Halloween always appears to be 21 Savage‘s season. With projects like The Slaughter Tape, The Slaughter King and Savage Mode, 21 attacks the end of October with vengeance.

    21 Savage returns with his new, upbeat track, “Immortal.” 21 doesn’t waste any breath, rapping pretty much all the way through. The song doesn’t have a home right now, but Savage isn’t the type of artist to starve his base for long.
