Dame makes fun of Fif’ & Cam

Dame Dash has roped Cam’ron into his ongoing beef with 50 Cent by pointing out a rather curious encounter between the the two.

Speaking on his America Nu Network, Dame made some implicating remarks about the sexual orientation of 50 and Cam by sharing a video of the latter being patted by the former at the waist when they met at an event in New York City last month.

“I called Cam with the serious face like, ‘Yo, I saw that shit with 50 Cent. Why he giving you the pat pat? Since when did n-ggas see each other, they smacking each other on the hips? What’s that all about? What was your reaction?’” Dame said.

“‘Did you say stop? What do you do when a strong-ass n-gga in a tight suit smacks you on the ass?’ You gotta say stop. No pat pat. We not in the pat pat club.’”

50 perfected the art of redoing other people’s hits

50 Cent divulges that he was greatly influenced by Nelly when writing Lloyd Banks’ song “On Fire.”

During an interview on Hot 97, Fif’ confessed that he lifted the basic elements from Nelly’s 2002 hit “Hot in Here,” and illustrated how he managed to successfully twist the song.

“I would be able to look at someone else’s record and make my version of the record when the right production came around, and it would be a hit again,” the G-Unit honcho explained.

“It’s the same record,” he added. “It’s just new melodies, new production and let Banks do it.”

50 Cent’s G-Unit Film and TV Studios plans in Shreveport in jeopardy due to proposed tax bill

50 faces huge hurdle in his Shreveport TV studios plans

50 Cent has been planning to establish his G-Unit Film and TV Studios in Shreveport but his dream may not materialize as expected. This is because of the introduction of a bill that seeks to change Louisiana’s tax policies on credits given for film making. The state is likely to do away with a policy that grants a 40% rebate on the costs incurred in film and TV productions within the state.

On Wednesday (November 13), the House of Representatives voted to terminate the tax credit scheme before June 2025 as part of the sweeping reforms of the tax system. The bill is now before the Senate, and although the vote has not been set, it is expected soon.

The credit scheme was one of the things that attracted 50 Cent to Shreveport. “This doesn’t feel good but it could be great for Louisiana, patience let’s see how it plays out,” Fif’ wrote on Instagram about the news.

“I know people in Shreveport are sick right now, stay positive everything happens for a reason. I want to thank you for supporting me with Humor Harmony having zero violent crimes for 16 days, believe it or not that made that event one of my biggest accomplishments.”

50 Cent explains why he doesn’t rap these days: ‘I have to tap into my stupid’

50 views modern rap as lacking intellectual depth

50 Cent reveals he has shunned rap for nearly the last ten years due to hip hop no longer being as stimulating intellectually as it used to be.

The G-Unit leader said during an interview with Earn Your Leisure that he’d have to lower his lyrical standards if he was to fit in the current rap game.

“If you listen to the music that’s out right now, I have to tap into my stupid. I have to tap into the stupid side of me to write the right thing when it comes time to write the music,” Fif’ said.

“This why I haven’t created as much content as I was creating in the past and I started going towards the film production and development of these projects. Because I can impact things in a bigger way through that.”

The G-Unit mogul then described Durk’s response: “He said, ‘You know what? Somebody just came to my house. How did they know exactly what my address is? Who has my address? Nobody,’” citing the home invasion from 2021 during which the rapper and the intruders exchanged gunfire.
