Cam’ron and 50 Cent took back to the past recently when Cam asked 50 how he managed to pull off a “sly” move during their late 2000s feud.
In another epic moment, while throwing jibes on Cam’s YouTube show Talk With Flee, Cam recalled how in 2007, 50 brought out Jim Jones and Juelz Santana at one of his shows in New York City – which Cam, as part of the whole Dan issue, interpreted as betrayal from his fellow Dipset members.
“We had inner issues in Dipset, but no doubt anybody knew. So when me and [50] were at it, you got Dipset members learning for your show, I thought, ‘This guy’s smart, I wouldn’t even have thought to reach out to [Tony] Yayo or Lloyd Banks,’” he maintains.
Cam had hopes of working through whatever internal issue then existed within Dipset before it spilled out before public eyes, but seeing Jim and Juelz on stage with 50, all of that changed.
“I knew it was all falling apart when they hit the stage,” Cam stated. “It was a checkmate moment.” “I thought, ‘This guy’s devious,’ but I actually respected it. I liked it [laughs].”
Then, Cam asked 50 how he managed to get Jim and Juelz on board.
“I just took the shot because I wasn’t sure if Jim would go for it,” 50 laughed. “I said, ‘We like Jimmy better than you, anyway, Cam!’ You watch and see how he responds. When he said yes, I knew we had him.”

Cam’ron Names Freekey Zekey as Dipset’s Toughest Member
Cam’ron names Freekey Zekey as Dipset’s toughest member
Cam’ron used the latest episode of his show Talk With Flee (“where Killa talks about what he wants to talk about”) to take off any viewer questions, including one that was on quite an odd but banging level: Who is the baddest in Dipset?
Killa Cam began clarifying what the question meant.
“Easy. Dipset isn’t just rappers,” he said. “There are a lot of tough dudes in Dipset that y’all have probably never seen on TV or the internet – those dudes don’t do social media. So, no; not that.
But again, if we’re talking about the group: the rappers; the people you know. It’s still a no.
Eventually, he revealed his choice: Freekey Zekey, “by far.”
Cam admitted that some people might be taken aback by the response because of Zeke’s animated style of telling particular tales, but people do usually believe him to be exaggerating. ‘But it’s all true,’ Killa clarified.
To explain, Cam played a clip of Zeke recounting a robbery and shootout during an interview conducted with QuietRoom. Whereas Zeke’s delivery is considered “extra,” according to Cam, there’s video proof of the event in question proving it to be real. -
Cam’ron Takes Responsibility for LaMelo Ball’s $100K Fine Over ‘No Homo’ Comment
Cam’ron owns up to LaMelo Ball’s $100K fine for ‘no homo’ remark
Cam’ron has stepped in to defend LaMelo Ball who was fined $100,000 due to a post-game interview recording in which Ball made a homophobic comment.
This past weekend after Charlotte Hornets managed to survive the Milwaukee Bucks 115-114, Ball was on the final possession that was winding down and discussing the defense of his team and quickly added: “Yeah, we loaded up — no homo — but that’s what we wanted.”
The 23-year-old point guard was criticized for the ‘no homo’’ comment after the NBA determined it was “offensive and derogatory which led to the penalty.
In a Tuesday (November 19) episode of his sports talk show It Is What It Is, Cam’ron claimed ownership for the problem saying it stemmed from him and his hometown. -
Dame Dash brings Cam’ron into the mix in his beef with 50 Cent
Dame makes fun of Fif’ & Cam
Dame Dash has roped Cam’ron into his ongoing beef with 50 Cent by pointing out a rather curious encounter between the the two.
Speaking on his America Nu Network, Dame made some implicating remarks about the sexual orientation of 50 and Cam by sharing a video of the latter being patted by the former at the waist when they met at an event in New York City last month.
“I called Cam with the serious face like, ‘Yo, I saw that shit with 50 Cent. Why he giving you the pat pat? Since when did n-ggas see each other, they smacking each other on the hips? What’s that all about? What was your reaction?’” Dame said.“‘Did you say stop? What do you do when a strong-ass n-gga in a tight suit smacks you on the ass?’ You gotta say stop. No pat pat. We not in the pat pat club.’”

Cam’ron discusses awkward text exchange with Jay-Z following B-Sides concert
Cam narrates strange convo with Hov
Cam’ron recounts a strange text conversation he had with JAY-Z after they met on stage at the memorable B-sides concert of Roc Nation held in 2019.
In the latest episode of his YouTube show Talk With Flee, Killa Cam opened up about the day’s activities in which he took an unanticipated turn to perform, “Welcome to New York” alongside her former label head whom he was famously at odds in the 2000s.
He went on to talk about the aftermath of the concert and specifically a text exchange he had with Hov.
“He texts me, ‘Yo, that was dope last night.’ [I replied,] ‘That was really dope, I appreciate you guys putting this shit to bed.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, man. See how much shit we can do when n-ggas stop acting like there’s fake beef out here. That shit slows shit down.’”
Cam continued: “I didn’t know how to take that. I didn’t know what he meant when he text that. I replied, ‘Well, no matter what, you, Dame and Biggs gave me the opportunity to feed my family legally, so I don’t have no problem with it.’
“But inside, I’m like, ‘Why would he even text that?’ I don’t know. Even to this day, I don’t have no problem but I thought that was weird.” -
Cam’ron says Drake ‘is one of the slickest talkers’ in Hip Hop
Killa Cam believes Drizzy is one of the best slick talkers
Cam’ron hails Drake one of the best slick talkers Hip Hop has ever seen. During a recent sitdown on It Is What It Is podcast, Cam explained why he thinks the Toronto rapper deserves his credit for his slick talk.
“Outside of this recent thing with Kendrick Lamar, Drake is one of the slickest talkers ever in rap, ” Killa Cam said.
“People always overlook that because he’s light-skinned or he can sing or he’s from Toronto or whatever. That n-gga slick talk is ridiculous, man. He talk shit.” -
Cam’ron shares his frustration with Denzel Washington playing action roles at old age
Cam wants to see more creativity in new movies
Cam’ron is not happy with how contemporary movie creators are struggling to come up with innovative content. During a recent episode of their sports podcast It Is What It Is with Mase, The Lox rapper explained that despite his love for Denzel Washington, he wouldn’t be too happy to see the iconic actor in action movies in his 70s.
“I’m not watching Rocky beat Rambo at 78 years old, man. I’m not watching that, bro. I refuse,” Killa Cam began.
“I love Denzel Washington as an actor; I’m not watching him do karate at 71 years old and all that. I love him, he’s a great actor, but when n-ggas start doing karate in they 70s, I can’t believe the movie. I can’t fuck with Denzel being the Equalizer at 70.” -
Cam’ron discusses difference between Jay-Z & Nas’ relationship with Hip-Hop
Cam believes Hov & Nas love rap in different ways
Cam’ron shares his thought on how Jay-Z and Nas view Hip-Hop. Earlier this month, Hov performed at Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall Of Fame induction where the audience appeared to show little interest.
Antonio Brown later took to Twitter to blast the Brooklyn billionaire for not performing “at any Hip Hop 50 concerts last year where the fans would’ve known every word to his songs, but he makes time to get ignored by rich folks…”
According to Cam, this is because Hov “likes” Hip-Hop and the profits that it brings unlike Nas who is actually in love with the craft.
“I believe that JAY-Z, to me – my personal opinion – is not in love with Hip Hop,” the Dipset rapper began during their It Is What It Is podcast with Mase. “I think he likes Hip Hop a lot, [but] I think he likes money more and opportunities to take his brand to the next level and some of the stuff that may have been going on with Hip Hop 50 may not have been up his alley.”
