    Kendrick has Spotify’s greatest rap song

    Kendrick Lamar’s hit record “Alright” has been crowned the greatest rap song by Spotify. The platform recently released its 100 greatest rap songs of the streaming era (from 2015) that also included Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” and Drake’s “God’s Plan” in the second and third place.

    Other tracks that follow in the list include Lil Uzi Vert‘s “XO Tour Llif3” and Future‘s “March Madness” in the fourth and fifth positions.

    Migos‘ “Bad and Boujee,” Travis Scott‘s “Sicko Mode,” Sheck Wes‘ “Mo Bamba,” Pop Smoke‘s “Dior” and Juice WRLD‘s “Lucid Dreams” also appear in the top 10 respectively.

    Cardo is the producer behind Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Euphoria” but he has worked extensively with both juggernauts throughout their careers and is even featured on some of the biggest records from each rapper.

    In a recent interview on Kids Take Over podcast, the producer explained how he feels about both megastars. “I respect them both. They’re both somebody I both f### with. I’ve made history with both of them. And it’s good for Hip-Hop,” Cardo explained. “Dot is the type of guy that will challenge anybody. He’ll challenge people in a game of hopscotch. He’s a competitive dude.”

    T.I. gives his take on the bombshell of the year – Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s bitter feud that erupted last month. During a recent sit-down on DJ Whoo Kid’s Whoo’s House Podcast, the Trap veteran said the two rap giants will burry the hatchet in the future and might actually go on tour together.

    “It is probably one of the more exacerbated beefs I’ve seen,” Tip explained. “All this stuff can’t be true, you know what I’m saying? Everything everybody’s saying can’t be true. Like, good God!”

    He continued, “I got respect for both of them and I think they both phenomenal hitmakers. I’m just waiting on the tour. After the disagreement, the only thing that’s gonna sell is the reunion.”

    Fans were quick to scoop an old interview of K Dot praising Drizzy for supporting his musical come-up. “Drake is a real good dude, first and foremost,” Kendrick says. “He heard my music probably a year back, reached out and just gave me respect on it… It was a mutual feeling for us, us appreciating the music.”

    He further opened up on how the Young Money flagship rapper called him up for his tour when K Dot’s career was still on the rise and how the relationship was characterized by a “great bond.”

    Future and Metro Boomin lit up the hip-hop world last Friday with their new collab album, We Don’t Trust You. Kendrick Lamar is one of the features on the project and his verse has sparked discussions among fans as it captures the rapper dissing J. Cole and Drake.

    “F*ck sneak dissin’, first person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” K Dot flows on “Like That,” before adding, “think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/ Motherf*ck the big three, n***a, it’s just big me/ N***a, bum, what? I’m really like that/ And your best work is a light pack.”

    After the stint, a clip from last month has been making rounds where Cole speaks highly of Young Metro. “I was in the studio the other night and [Metro Boomin] was in there cooking up,” Cole says. “Everything is just like confident steps, you’re not judging it, you’re not thinking about it.”
