Smurk hopped on Instagram stories Thursday (April 13) showering the “Shirt” hit-maker with praises while making his wish to host her on his upcoming album. Durk also asked his fans to help make the collab possible by tagging her.

    Incarcerated rapper Pooh Shiesty celebrates his smash record, “Back In Blood,” featuring Lil Durk going 5x platinum. His team took to Instagram this weekend to share the good news.

    “5X PLAT‼️ FREE SHIESTY,” read the post, which was accompanied by a snippet of the music video.

    Produced by YC, the track was released as the lead single for Shiesty’s first mixtape, Shiesty Season, that dropped in 2021. The song was released the same night King Von was killed on November 6, 2020.

    Lil Durk discloses his plot on his next album. The Atlanta-based rapper hopped on Instagram stories Sunday night (February 26) to reveal that the upcoming body of work won’t be anything you’ve listened to before.

    “This album ain’t regular,” Smurk wrote beside a photo of himself.

    Durk released his last album, 7220, in March 2022 to streaming success. The project debuted atop the charts making it his second overall and first solo No. 1 album. It sold 120K equivalent album units in the first week.

    It looks like a collab project between Lil Durk and a mysterious artist is in the works. Social media personality DJ Akademiks shared a photo of Smurkio starring to the camera with his eyes hilariously wide open, and in the caption, Ak highlighted how the pic was trending on Twitter.

    “They got Smurk trending on Twitter for this pic,” Ak wrote on Instagram. Durk hopped on the comments section responding that he’d spotted the individual who’s working with on a tape. “I seen who I’m doing my collaboration tape with,” the 7220 rapper replied.

    It looks like Lil Durk was involved in a car accident over the weekend. The rapper took to Instagram On Sunday (December 18) to share a photo of a flipped car with the caption, “Live life Anyday can be your last 😒 SMURK.” He also shared a few photos of him with no visible injuries.

    Lil Tjay slid in the comments to underscore Durk’s message. “Reason y u gotta 👣👣 every chance u get,” the Bronx rapper wrote. Smurk hasn’t shared any more details about the incident.

    Lil Zay is now part of Only the Family

    Lil Durk has added fellow Chicago native Lil Zay Osama to his Only the Family label. Over the weekend, Lil Zay shared a video on Instagram of Durk putting an OTF chain on him. “This is how we doing,” Zay says in the clip. “You know what the f*ck going on. Family thing man. Gang shit only man. My brother 5L.”

    In the caption, the “Changed Up” artist wrote: “From The Block To The Hills This Shit Real Street Niggas Before The Deal ! Never Fold Stood On 10 Toes Took Souls You Can’t Play Wit U.s Us #TrenchBaby #OTF.”

    In July, Smurk and Zay joined forces on the latter’s second part of “Fuck My Cousin.” It peaked at No. 10 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 singles.

The project, which hits DSPs on Friday (December 16), is packed with 23 songs with guest contributions from Future, Kodak Black, Trippie Redd, Icewear Vezzo, Big 30, PGF Nuk, and Lil Zay Osama.

    Durk and his OTF family have new project dropping before the year ends

    Lil Durk and his label Only The Family want to bless their fans with a new compilation album before the end of the year. Smurk announced on Instagram Saturday night (Dec. 10) that Loyal Bros 2 is dropping December 16. The project will serve as the fifth compilation from OTF.

    “Loyal Bros 2 12/16… Y’all ready?” the Chicago-born rapper wrote under the official cover art of the project.

    The first segment of the compilation series was released in March 2021.
