    Spice keeps the momentum with new project

    Viral rapper Ice Spice comes through with her debut EP titled, Like..?, which hit digital streaming platforms on Friday (January 20). The six-track project arrives with Lil Tjay as the sole feature on the record “Gangsta Boo.”

    The project includes previously released singles “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “Bikini Bottom,” and “In Ha Mood.”

    The Bronx artist first spoke about the existence of the extended play in a November interview with Rap Caviar. “I’m excited for this new music I’m about to put out. I’m about to put out an EP. … ‘Bikini Bottom’ is on there, and then there’s some that people haven’t heard,” Spice said about the project. “It’s about to be a vibe. Visuals coming with it, too. Yeah, a bunch of content around it. It’s lit.”

    Lil Tjay has allegedly been freed from jail following Monday arrest on gun possession charges. Per New York Daily News, Tjay was released on Wednesday (January 18) on a $30K cash bail. The “Calling My Phone” hit-maker was offered a $30K cash bail and a $90K bond, and he went with the bail.

    Tjay was detained by police in the Bronx at the beginning of the week after four handguns were found in a Cadillac Escalade he and four others were traveling in. The rapper was on his way to a music video shoot for his collab with Ice Spice, “Gangsta Boo.”

    Ice Spice shoots a different music video after Tjay gets busted

    Ice Spice and Lil Tjay were set to shoot the visuals for their forthcoming collab “Gangsta Boo,” but the plans didn’t fall into place after Tjay got detained by police for gun possession. Ice Spice was then forced to shoot the video for her new single “In Ha Mood,” which was released earlier this month.

    The “Headshot” rapper and four others were driving through West 183rd Street and Ryer Avenue in the Bronx when the cops stopped them and recovered four handguns in the Cadillac Escalade they were in. Tjay is being charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

    Platinum rapper Lil Tjay was reportedly detained by police on Monday (January 16) for gun possession in the Bronx, per WABC. Police say the “Give You What You Want” hit-maker and four others were riding through West 183rd Street and Ryer Avenue in a black Cadillac Escalade when they stopped and searched them before finding four handguns. The 21-year-old is facing criminal possession of weapon charges.

    The rapper was on his way to shoot a music video with Ice Spice for their upcoming collab, “Gangsta Boo.”

    The arrest follows the June 2022 near-death incident where Tjay was shot in the chest several times in an attempted robbery in Edgewater, New Jersey.

    Polo is gearing up to unleash his joint album with 808 Mafia producer Southside which is set to arrive in the future. On Monday (December 19), he shared a couple of photos and videos suggesting he is working on new music with Lil Tjay. He also shared a clip of him and Southside listening to unreleased music in the studio.

    During his recent visit on Zias, Polo explained what is to be expected of the forthcoming album.

    “This album I connected back to my roots for sure, the sh*t I came in with that I’m most known for,” Cap said. “The project got primary feelings, there’s some toxic sh*t, love sh*t, some street sh*t, gangster sh*t. Any n***a that’s been through a lot, you gon’ be able to relate.”

    He added that it’ll arrive in the first quarter of 2023. “I’m still working sh*t out but first quarter of the year (2023) for sure.”

    Tjay headlines his first concert since June shooting

    Lil Tjay is back and outside! The Bronx native headlined his first post-shooting concert on Sunday night (December 11) at The Novo in Los Angeles. The rapper performed several songs including Pop Smoke’s “Mood Swings.” At one point, Tjay brought out his buddy and collaborator, Polo G, with whom they performed their breakout 7x platinum hit, “Pop Out,” as well as “Headshot.”

    The “Give You What You Want” artist also called up Diddy’s son, King Combs, who performed his Kodak Black-assisted track “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop.”

    Tjay survived a nearly fatal shooting in June when he was hit seven times during an attempted robbery in Edgewater, New Jersey. Two months later, the 21-year-old returned with the Billboard Charts single, “Beat The Odds,” in which he addressed the shooting. In November, he delivered another cut, the aforementioned tender and melodic, “Give What You Want.”

    Lil Tjay to return with brand new single

    New York rapper Lil Tjay plots to return with a new single, “Give You What You Want,” which drops November 11. The rapper took to Instagram earlier this week to share a video of him vibing to the new song in the studio.

    The record will follow Tjay’s first post-shooting song, “Beat The Odds,” which he unleashed right after he recovered from the nearly fatal shooting in New Jersey during the summer.

    The 21-year old released his last album in 2021 titled, Destined 2 Greatness. It featured 6lack, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Saweetie, Tyga, Toosii, Offset, and Moneybagg Yo. The production was handled by Smash David, CashMoneyAP, 808Melo, Cubeatz and OG Parker and more.

    Tjay blasts “blogs” that reported he “was paralyzed and couldn’t walk”

    Rapper Lil Tjay took to his TikTok account to share a post-surgery video of him walking with the support of a nurse while his song “Beat The Odds” plays in the background.

    “The blogs said I was paralyzed and couldn’t walk,” Tjay wrote in the post. “But I started walking in a week after surgery. I beat the odds.”

    Tjay was shot seven times in an attempted robbery while sitting in his car in Edgewater, New Jersey June.

    Two months after the near-fatal shooting, Tjay shared first statement in a video. “Hey what’s going on y’all?” Tjay, who rocked a medical gown & neck bracelet said in the video.

    “I’m just checking in with y’all. I just wanna say, thanks for the love, thanks for the support. I’ve been looking at the DM’s, seeing the comments and everything else and I feel love.”
