    Yeat is gearing up to release his sophomore album, Lyfe, on Friday but until then, he shares the official tracklist.

    The California native posted the 12-song tracklist on Instagram story with sole guest appearance from Lil Uzi Vert.

    The rapper was also recently seen shooting a music video with Cole Bennett.

    Yeat gained popularity in 2021 after going viral with hits like “Get Busy,” “Twizzy Rich,” “Money So Big,” and “Poppin’.”

    His debut album, Up 2 Me, was released last September via Interscope & Twizzy Rich. It earned the 22-year old his first Billboard 200 entry landing at #183 after four months of release.

    Virgil Abloh directed the music video for one of Lil Uzi Vert’s biggest songs XO Tour Llif3.

    Virgil Abloh and Lil Uzi Vert got fined $3k for the blood in XO Tour Llif3 Music Video. This would be the second music video Virgil has ever directed and they shot the video at The Mercer hotel in Soho, New York back in 2017. They had a scene where there was blood in the hotel bathtub and the hotel didn’t like that and fined them $3k. “Lil Uzi Vert asked me to direct his music video” Virg stated. “Got fined $3k for the blood.” Virgil Abloh revealed (57:20) this during a public lecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

    Lil Uzi has been teasing the mixtape for almost two years


    Lil Uzi Vert seemingly confirms that his fifth studio mixtape, The Pink Tape, will no longer be released exclusively on SoundCloud. On late Saturday (July 30), the Philly native shared on Twitter that the forthcoming tape was supposed to be a free SoundCloud project dedicated to his fans.

    “It was a free SoundCloud tape for my fans …. When I drop Pink Tape you will see 😝💘,” he tweeted.

    On July 22, Uzi released his third EP, Red & White, as a supposed pre-taste for The Pink Tape. The EP marked Uzi’s first solo project since 2020’s Eternal Atake.

    In October 2021, Uzi announced at a friend’s wedding in Cambodia that the project would drop on Halloween, but later took back the claims a week before the holiday.

    “No, it’s not [dropping next week],” the 26-year old rapper said while interracting with fans in the streets at the time. “Then it drop next week, and then it sounds like shit, and I gotta hear from like 100,000 people on the Internet, ‘This sucks!’ So you gotta let me take my time… I’m taking my time so it won’t suck.”

    Breaking down Lil Uzi Vert’s new EP ‘RED & WHITE’

    Lil Uzi Vert is back with a brand new EP titled ‘RED & WHITE’. The EP is full of grails that fans have been waiting to receive the finished version of for years.

    In an Instagram post by Uzi on July 18, 2022, the rapper posted the EP cover with the caption “Red & White Ep …. Before The P!NK 🔴⚪️=👩🏽‍🎤 “

    Many speculate Uzi is teasing his awaited next full project, the ‘P!NKTAPE‘ which has been teased with snippets by Uzi himself on his Instagram.

    But before we get to the ‘P!NKTAPE‘ era, let’s dive into the newly released EP.

    RED & WHITE‘ is a 9* track EP officially released on streaming, July 22nd, 2022 by Atlantic Records.

    The Spotify and Apple release of the EP differs from the SoundCloud release due to Uzi releasing 4 songs as singles on Spotify/Apple Music before the official release on SoundCloud. So the tracklists are different.

    *Technically the EP is 10 songs according to the SoundCloud version that was dropped first. But the 7th song, ‘BELIEVE ME‘ sample did not clear for streaming on major streaming platforms. 

    Whatever the story, the EP is officially out now on Apple, Spotify, and Soundcloud, – So let’s break down the history and details of the EP tracks. Shoutout to Genius.com for having some info on these grail tracks.

    1- SPACE CADET

    The first single off of ‘RED & WHITE’, “SPACE CADET” was released without warning via Uzi’s SoundCloud on July 17, in an Instagram post Uzi stated, “OUT NOW!!! We back on SoundCloud!”

    The single was teased during several live events, the most notable being Rolling Loud 2021 in Miami, where Uzi performed the song.

    2- I KNOW

    The second single, and highly anticipated track “I KNOW” released through Uzi’s SoundCloud in the early hours of July 19th.

    The track, recorded in 2017, was previously dubbed “Neck On Froze” and is produced by SonnyDigital, who teased the release of the song in a tweet on July 10, stating “👀 soon kids” to an Uzi fan page who tweeted a snippet of the song. The song was at first thought to be intended to release on Uzi’s 2017 album ‘Luv Is Rage 2‘ — ultimately not making the cut.

    3- FLEX UP

    “FLEX UP” serves as the third promotional single. The song marks the awaited reunion of Uzi with producer Maaly Raw. The track was originally previewed in January of 2017 through Uzi’s Instagram live. The track was also expected to appear on ‘Luv is Rage 2‘, and did not make an appearance.

    4- HITTIN MY SHOULDER

    “HITTIN MY SHOULDER” serves as the fourth promotional single. The track was recorded in 2016 and was not previewed prior to its release.

    5- CIGARETTE

    “CIGARETTE” is the opening track for the Spotify/Apple Music version of the EP. Previously dubbed as “One Of One”, the song was produced by long time collab producer Don Cannon and was heard for the first time on June 17th, 2022 live at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2022.

    6- FOR FUN

    “FOR FUN” is a song from 2019 that was previewed by the producer, beatbyjeff Instagram post. The Instagram video was a video of them shooting a music video for the song. The caption was the producer teasing the song and asking when and if they should drop.

    7- BELIEVE ME

    “BELIEVE ME” is the only song that did not make streaming service due to sample clearance issues. The sample was from the song “You’re So Vain” by Marilyn Manson. First previewed on April 17 2017 in a Uzi IG story, this is a classic Uzi rager song produced by Maaly Raw. So it is too bad it could not get cleared, check it out on SoundCloud here.

    8- ISSA HIT

    “ISSA HIT” was produced by Oogie Mane and Brandon Finessin.

    9- GLOCK IN MY PURSE

    “GLOCK IN MY PURSE” would be heard for the first time on July 14, 2022, in a group chat in which Lil Uzi Vert is quite active.

    On this day other songs were previewed such as: “Patience(In Love With Me)”, “Growing Pains”.

    Rumors stated that later that day, Uzi requested for his fan pages to remove the posts that included the new songs that he previewed as he meant them to be only heard by the people in the group chat, and the snippets were just a way to test the waters for his upcoming third studio album “The Pink Tape”.

    10- F.F. (Final Fantasy)

    “F.F” was Previewed by Uzi in IG live on September 5th, 2021 and is produced by DJ Esko.

    Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert updated their social media over the weekend (July 17) by changing their pronouns to the non-binary They/ Them on Instagram. The move establishes the artist as not conforming to male and female gender roles. Other artists that identify as non-binary include Kehlani, Janelle Monae, and others.

During an after party show at 808 Club Berlin on Thursday (June 23), Keem and his producer Scott Bridgeway played part of a thrilling unreleased Uzi collab titled ”Hit It.”

    The record sees the two rappers infectiously flowing over a splendid production from Bridgeway & Soldado, the former having heavily contributed on Keem’s debut album, The Melodic Blue.

    ‘’Doot-doot, doot-doot, fuck the loaf, I made the bread, Doot-doot, doot-doot, I see numbers in my head (Yeah), ha, I like dead people instead, Doot-doot, doot-doot, ain’t ’bout money, texts on read, Doot-doot, doot-doot, get it (Yeah),’’ Uzi raps on his verse.

    On the second verse, Keem spits ‘’And I just lit his [?] up for some entertainment, Won my first Grammy, put my opps in the pavement, I told my ghetto bitch to shut the fuck up (Ayy), I like tough love (Ayy, ayy), I know they don’t trust us.’’

    Bridgeway also previewed the track during Keem’s show in Paris.

    Lil Uzi Vert has new music on the way

    It’s been almost two years since Lil Uzi Vert released new music, nevertheless, the hiatus has seen the rapper repeatedly teasing his next project, The Pink Tape. Uzi recently stopped by the streets where he confirmed he’s still planning to drop the project, despite the delay.

    ‘’Any more tapes or any music we can expect from you?’’ One of the press members asked the Eternal Atake rapper. He replied: ‘’Yeah, I’m dropping Pink Tape. I’m dropping some music.’’

    In May, the 27-year old promised the project will be one of a kind as he is in ‘’classic mode’’ during the creation process. “They just tryna hear the real deal and I only let them hear the fake I am stepping bad on this album and y’all ain’t hear nothin maybe alil but nothin [flame emoji] Trust me,” Uzi tweeted. “Trust me you will be back they always come back.
