    Intenet Money returns with new single

    Producer group Internet Money once again connects with Don Toliver and Gunna seeking another hit, this time recruiting Lil Uzi Vert, on a new single titled “His & Hers.” The audio was released on Friday (May 14), following it up with a Cole Benett-directed video a few hours later.

    The last time Internet Money linked with Don Toliver and Gunna was on last year’s “Lemonade,” a track that saw massive success. It peaked at number 6 on Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming one of the biggest hits of 2020. It appeared on Internet Money’s B4 the Storm album.

    In a conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Internet Money’s Taz Taylor discussed his plans to follow up “Lemonade” with another hit. “So I actually started this record right after we dropped Lemonade because I seen the numbers…” Taz explained. “”Lemonade” was the first one where I was like, man, this is doing like two million streams a day. This is crazy. So at that point I was like all right, well they want me to go make the biggest records.”

    Young Nudy is back with a new project


    Atlanta rapper Young Nudy drops his new album, DR. EV4L, via RCA Records. With features from G Herbo, Lil Uzi Vert, and his cousin 21 Savage, the album features a total of 13 tracks.

    Nudy held an album listening party in Atlanta on Monday (May 17), where he dressed up on the same outfit he puts on on the DR EV4L artwork. DJ Akademiks shared a video from the event on Instagram on the same day.

    The new album is a follow-up to Nudy’s 2020 project, Anyways. The tape debuted at number 109 on Billboard Hot 200 album chart. In a Complex interview from February 2020, Nudy conceded that he is under-appreciated.

    “They still be sleeping, but I got to the point where I don’t even give a fuck,” he said. “It’s all about the Nudy fans now. Yeah, man. The Nudy fans love me. Then shit, I know somebody loves me. Folk are catching onto it, though. Shit has been progressing more. It ain’t going down. It always goes up. I wouldn’t let myself go down. I’ll show my ass in the industry before I let myself go down. Show my real color. [They’ll be like], ‘I did not know he act like that.’”

    Uzi recently hinted at the upcoming record on Twitter, expressing his excitement about it. “Okay this @trvisXX x @LILUZIVERT ?? WTFFFF!!!!!! ???®️,” wrote Uzi.


    Details surrounding whatever the two rappers have in store have not been shared yet with fans. The title and the release date haven’t been revealed.

    The last time Travis and Uzi were on a song together was on the 2018 single “Watch” along with Kanye West. The two hip hop stars have also previously collaborated on Scott’s 2016 gem “RaRa.”

    While many are looking forward to taking time off for the holidays, Lil Uzi Vert is among the people who are working through it this week. Uzi has been previewing a ton of new music.     Two Trap legends Gucci & Jeezy squashed their 15-year old beef after going one on one hit song battle. Perhaps Rich and Uzi will be able to settle their issues by the mic too. Uzi is yet to issue a response. If he’ll be in, then it will be another huge fight on Verzuz, considering the popularity of their rivalry. Lil Uzi himself tapped into the run by dropping ‘Lil Uzi Vert vs The World 2’, a deluxe to ‘Eternal Atake’. Other rappers like Lil Baby and Gunna have also had success with deluxe versions.

    Future and Uzi also felt the necessity of dropping a deluxe to their joint album ‘Pluto x Baby Pluto’ which was released on Friday. Uzi promised more music on Twitter days ago, and looks like he was getting fans ready for the deluxe. The two hip hop heavy weights have released the deluxe project with six additional tracks. The tracks include Tic Tac, My Legacy, Heart In Pieces, Because Of You, Bust A Move and Baby Sasuke.

    Future Hndrxx and Lil Uzi dropped their anticipated collab project ‘Pluto & Baby Pluto’ on Friday, last week. Hip hop fans have been hyping up the body of work and it is no doubt that the tape is bound to do decent numbers. The 16-track project is expected to debut at number one on Billboard Hot 200 with 120k units sold in the first week.


    Elsewhere, King Von is projected to move 44k units, peaking at number five, making it the rapper’s first top 10 entry. Nav & Wheezy’s joint tape ‘Emergency Tsunami’ is expected to sell 37k units in the coming week.
