Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti: A Recent Timeline

The recent Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti buzz has everyone talking. But what exactly is going on? What events/tweets led up to this? I will be doing my best to explain just that.

Since Uzi released his long awaited ‘Eternal Atake’ along with ‘LUV vs. the World 2’ there then began speculation when Carti would soon follow these releases from Uzi. Uzi then tweeted on March 13th, “Soon as HE drop imma drop again.” Many concluding he was talking about Carti. Then again on April 12th, Uzi then posted and quickly deleted this tweet:

Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti: A Recent Timeline

Carti had been quiet up until April 14 when he tweeted the cover art for his new single ‘@ MEH‘. Possibly telling Uzi to @ him on his posts instead of using ‘HE’ or just blatantly tweeting his name.

Uzi then took to Twitter again to let the world know:

Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti: A Recent Timeline

Which takes us to today, April 16th, when Carti unexpectedly dropped his new single, ‘@ MEH’ which got a lot of reaction from social media, including, you know it, Uzi.

Not even three hours after Carti dropped his first single since his 2018 album ‘Die Lit’, Uzi tweeted & posted this on Instagram:

Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti: A Recent Timeline
Uzi trolling Carti’s song and cover art and transforming it into his own version of it.

Ten minutes later, Carti was back with what could be his final social media play:

Followed five minutes by, you know who:

Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti: A Recent Timeline

In my opinion, I think Uzi is trolling Carti. I don’t think Carti has anything to do with what is going on. Carti is just doing his normal social media stuff for his new release. Uzi is well aware of the social media storm in relation to his and Carti’s relationship, and saw his opportunity to stir the pot. I expect a remix of the Carti song from Uzi.

Remember, Carti was the first to tweet, ‘. MoNDay’ so he was planning on dropping something on Monday regardless. Now, whether that be a release date, a new single, the title of the album, tracklist, etc., we will just have to wait and see.

Moments after Carti tweeted “. MoNDaY” Uzi tweeted and quickly deleted this:

Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti: A Recent Timeline
Looks like Uzi did “@” Carti

Hard to tell what all this means as it could go any number of direction in the following days. Let us know your thoughts or any details I may have missed in the article in the replies!

Lil Uzi Vert COULD Possibly Drop Music This Friday

Lil Uzi Vert could be dropping new music Friday, the same day that Playboi Carti is dropping new music. Interesting enough, there’s been a few details that lead to this possibility.

It’s been a cryptic journey to figure out Lil Uzi’s energy involving Playboi Carti. Due to his beef with Rich The Kid, it’s hard to tell who this tweet points at.

It was just the other day when Uzi tweeted Carti’s name and quickly deleted soon after. The next day, Carti announced that he’s dropping an album, this Friday. Today, Uzi has taken to Twitter to say he made the realist shit of his life. He then proceeded to give way to the notion that he’s ready to drop again. It’s very possible that he could drop this Friday.
