    Even though the Migos no longer exits as a group, the trio has left a legacy in hip hop that will never fed away. Offset, one of the former members, appeared on Variety’s latest cover where he opened up about a number of topics, including his relationship with Quavo and Takeoff.

    While it is widely know that the late Takeoff was a nephew to Quavo, Offset told the publication that he is not biologically related to the two. He explained that he and Quavo were classmates since sixth grade, resulting to the bond and ultimately Migos.

    He added that they used to hangout in Quavo’s basement where the iconic triplet flow was born.

    Set continues to pay tribute to Take

    The Hip Hop community is steal struggling to heal from the loss of Migos rapper Takeoff, who was fatal shot in October. On Sunday (April 16), Offset took to Instagram to show off a huge tattoo of Take that covers almost all of his back. “Love you 4l & after,” Set captioned the post.

    On the same day, Offset and Travis Scott performed an unreleased record where the Father Of 4 rapper also paid homage to Takeoff as well as to his grandmother. “Asked God why I didn’t get an answer/How did I lose my brother to bullets/How I lose my grandmama to cancer/Why me God, I need answers/I don’t need God, I need answers,” Set raps on the track.

    Offset and Travis Scott have a new banger in the vault. During their Sunday night (April 16) performance at the Rolling Loud Thailand, Set and Jack performed an unreleased record that set the crowd on fire. It has also been receiving positive reviews online.

    Offset and Travis Scott have joined forces multiple times before. They’ve worked together on “Ghostface Killa” with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage, Migos’ “Give No Fxcks” along with Young Thug, as well as Kodak Black’s “ZEZE.”

    Set and Cardi to appear on Baby Shark’s Big Movie

    Offset and Cardi B will be starring on Paramount+ upcoming film Baby Shark’s Big Movie along with their two kids, four-year-old Kulture and one-year-old Wave. Cardi announced her family’s role on the film in a tweet she shared on Thursday (March 30).

    “Happy to announce that me & my family will be in the BABY SHARKS BIG MOVIE,” Bardi wrote.

    Last April, Offset and Cardi appeared on a Baby Shark episode as Sharki B and Offshark. They’ll be reprising their roles on the forthcoming film.

    Cardi B recently appeared on Revolt’s newly-launched The Jason Lee Show where she had an extensive discussion. The New York rapper explained why she never publicly address the rumors about Offset and Saweetie, blatantly saying the allegations are false.

    “I was quiet because one thing I’m gonna do, I’m gonna find out the truth,” Bardi said.

    “And you know that I was finding out that truth,” she added. “So, it’s like, if I entertain something that I know is not true, on the internet, people be like, ‘Oh, it is true because you’re addressing it. But when I don’t address it, it’s true or not, as well.

    “So, I’m like, you know what? I’m just not gonna entertain the bullsh*t, because if I entertain it, it’s gonna keep goin’ longer and longer.” Cardi continued, “At the end of the day, I know what’s going on in my house.”

    Cardi B and Offset have been together for around five years, but their relationship hasn’t been without hurdles. In 2020, Cardi filed for a divorce but shortly withdrew following their reconciliation. During a sit-down at the Jason Lee Show this week, Bardi explained that Set mended his ways following the divorce attempt.

    “Me and Offset, we was not seeing eye-to-eye,” Bardi told Jason Lee. “This was like, the same year I filed for divorce and everything. I’m gonna let him talk about this because the main thing that was really bothering me, I’ma let him say it. I want him to say it, because I feel like that’s really part of his story.”

    She continued, “The main thing that I wanted him to stop and everything, he stopped and he changed, and it showed me that he wanted to change for me.”

    Cardi B remembers the time her hubby Offset received a phone call about his cousin and Migos comrade Takeoff’s killing. During an interview with Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee on his eponymous podcast this week, the “Hot Shit” rapper recalled that they were in bed with Set when they received the unfortunate news in the early morning of November 1.

    “We were in bed. We were supposed to go to LaLa [Anthony]’s party in New York, and my daughter threw up all over my costume,” she recounted. “Halloween was over ’cause it was just so much throw-up on the costume and I ain’t have nothing to wear.”

    Cardi continued, “So we just fell asleep, and out of nowhere, Offset’s phone kept ringing, my phone kept ringing. Offset picked up the phone and he was just like, ‘No!’ He’s screaming and screaming. He’s screaming like, ‘No! No! No! No!’

    “I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’ And he’s like, ‘Takeoff is dead.’ I smacked him and said, ‘Don’t say that!’ And then he’s just like screaming and throwing things, throwing up, running all over. And I was so scared, I was crying so much. It was terrible.”

    Offset and Future have new music on the way

    With a new album on the horizon, Offset teases a new song with an appearance from Future. A clip surfaced on social media Sunday (November 27) showing Set rocking a painted face like the Joker with a prop rifle in his hand, dancing to the snippet in an open street.

    Offset initially planned to deliver his sophomore solo studio album on November 11, but had to delay it following the death of his fellow Migos member and cousin, Takeoff. Per a report by HipHopDx, a fan page user inquired from the Atlanta artist earlier this month if the release date would remain the same, but he revealed it was pushed back without providing any further information.
