Playboi Carti took to his Twitter to mention Travis Scott in a tweet, saying he loved the verse he sent in for his album. “Wow, amazing. Love this verse. red red red,” Playboi tweeted in a less-than-aforementioned quote above.

Per usual of this entire year, Whole Lotta Red by Playboi Carti remains a mysterious album that has not seen the light of day. However, Playboi has increased his visibility and shared more details. We learnedKanye West is also on the project. We may eve hear the return of Carti and Uzi. Pharrell and Kid Cudi are also additions to the album.
According to DJ Akademiks, the album is scheduled to arrive next Friday, Christmas Day.

Mario Judah has been urgingPlayboi Carti to do his fans right and drop ‘Whole Lotta Red’ or else, he would drop his own version of the album.

Since dropping his debut album ‘Die Lit’ in 2018, Playboi Carti’s next has been one of the most anticipated. The 24-year old rapper has been teasing the album for months, leaving his fans frustrated, worrying whether the project will drop soon enough. Perhaps, Carti has been taking his time to create something special for his loyal fanbase.
The Atlanta-born rapper is giving us some hope that the tape might drop sooner than we think. He was recently on social media announcing that ‘WLR’ is complete, and that he has turned it in for clearance by his label. “OUt of MY boDY ! WHOLE TAPE” wrote the ‘@Meh’ rapper in a tweet. He also confirmed that he has turned the album in in another Instagram post, writing “<3 . Album.TuRneD iN.”

Which takes us to today, April 16th, when Carti unexpectedly dropped his new single, ‘@ MEH’ which got a lot of reaction from social media, including, you know it, Uzi.
Not even three hours after Carti dropped his first single since his 2018 album ‘Die Lit’, Uzi tweeted & posted this on Instagram:

In my opinion, I think Uzi is trolling Carti. I don’t think Carti has anything to do with what is going on. Carti is just doing his normal social media stuff for his new release. Uzi is well aware of the social media storm in relation to his and Carti’s relationship, and saw his opportunity to stir the pot. I expect a remix of the Carti song from Uzi.
Remember, Carti was the first to tweet, ‘. MoNDay’ so he was planning on dropping something on Monday regardless. Now, whether that be a release date, a new single, the title of the album, tracklist, etc., we will just have to wait and see.
