As Complex reports, SZA was seen this week with her bodyguard holding the now-notorious Utopia briefcase in Manchester. The publication adds that the two linked up at two shows, recording music together after each.

    Travis Scott has been publicly walking around with the Utopia briefcase handcuffed on his security personnel lately, signaling that the album is on the horizon.

    Mike Dean is currently locked in with Travis Scott putting together the latter’s long-awaited album, Utopia. Once done with La Flame’s album, the prominent producer and record engineer will be hands on on a joint album with The Weeknd.

    Dean made the revelation on Twitter Friday (June 16) but didn’t provide further information about Utopia nor Weeknd’s project. “Thank you. I’m on tour. Finishing utopia. And doing another mike dean / weeknd album,” Mike Dean tweeted.

    Travis Scott has lately been teasing his new album Utopia more and more, but his producer Mike Dean wants fans to remain calm as they put the final touches to the forthcoming release. Mike was replying to a fan on Twitter last week when he revealed that he and the “Escape Plan” rapper retain the final say as to when the album is done.

    “UTOPIA WILL BE DONE WITH WHEN TRAV AND I SAY ITS DONE DO NOT RUSH LET US COOK,” Mike Dean wrote.

    Travis Scott shares some details on how he put together his new album, Utopia. Speaking to Pin-Up magazine this week, the “Escape Plan” rapper explained that he created a better part of the album on the music production workstation, MPC.

    “I made most of my new album on an MPC,” Travis said, before revealing his preferred version of MPC. “I got new ones; I got some old ones. My favorite is the 2000XL. It produces a very distinctive sound that makes it feel alive.”

    Travis Scott has repeatedly displayed his love for architecture and he plans to take it further. The Houston native appeared on Pin-Up magazine’s cover this week where he disclosed his mission to attend Harvard University for architecture studies after he drops the mic. However, he does consider pursuing both concurrently.

    “Architecture is my true passion,” the Cactus Jack honcho revealed. “I plan to apply to the architecture program at Harvard GSD when I’m done with music, which won’t be for a while. It would be dope to do both at the same time.”

    Travis Scott’s upcoming album, Utopia, is on the horizon and the Texas rapper knows it won’t hurt to explain a few details about the forthcoming release. During a sit-down with Pin-Up magazine published on Wednesday (May 24), Travis opened up about the title of the highly-anticipated album.

    “Utopia is something that people feel is so far-fetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind. But you create it yourself,” La Flame expounded.

    “There are people who achieve utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that’s the most you can have.

    “With every album I live in these worlds in my mind — I’m trying to show people experiences where utopian things can exist, and you can enjoy yourself and have a good time. They can create energy that spews out magical things — new cures, new buildings, new avenues for people to move forward. People need to see that utopia is real,” he added.

    Travis Scott’s Utopia album rollout is already underway and he is moving around teasing the long-awaited album. This weekend, a second photo of the rapper with his bodyguard holding a “Utopia” briefcase handcuffed on him circulated online.

    Earlier this week, La Flame was also spotted leaving a vinly record store with another Utopia briefcase protected by his security personnel. Earlier this month, a video also surfaced of the Cactus Jack leader revealing that he played the album for baseball team Houston Astross.
