Cardi B, Doechii & The Game Slam Trump Over Immigration Raids and Protest Crackdown in L.A.

Cardi B, Doechii, and The Game are among the prominent hip hop artists speaking out against Donald Trump following his administration’s aggressive immigration raids in Los Angeles and the controversial deployment of military forces against protesters.

Cardi, known for her political outspokenness, didn’t mince words during a live X Spaces chat, blasting Trump’s leadership style and expressing deep concern for immigrant communities.

“He always gives dictatorship vibes,” she said. “I tried to warn people this was going to happen. I don’t know anybody in the White House anymore. If I talk about it every day, he won’t care — he’ll probably deport more people just to prove he runs this country.”

She urged the former president to show “compassion” and said his actions are leaving families and communities traumatized.

Doechii, who took home an award at the BET Awards, used her acceptance speech to issue a scathing critique of Trump’s crackdown.

“There are ruthless attacks that are creating fear and chaos in our communities in the name of law and order,” she said, condemning the deployment of military forces to suppress protests. “What kind of government deploys the military every time we protest? That’s not democracy.”

She added that artists have a duty to speak up, declaring:

“We all deserve to live in hope and not fear.”

Meanwhile, The Game joined in solidarity with L.A.’s Mexican-American communities, voicing his support as demonstrations across the city intensify. Trump has since ordered the National Guard and even active-duty Marines into Los Angeles, sparking widespread criticism and unrest.

The artists’ united front underscores growing frustration from within the entertainment industry toward Trump’s immigration tactics and his response to public dissent — a clash that continues to polarize communities across the U.S.

Cardi B Wants In-Ring Action at WWE SummerSlam, Says Triple H

Rap star eager to trade bars for body slams in potential wrestling debut

Cardi B might be ready to step out of the studio and into the squared circle. According to WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker is seriously eyeing an in-ring moment as she gears up to host this year’s SummerSlam in August.

“I don’t know if anybody can control Cardi B… If she wants to [wrestle], it’s going to be hard to talk her out of it,” Triple H told Billboard. “Whatever she’s going to do, she’s going to do… she’s a lot of fun to work with.”

A longtime WWE fan, Cardi has often voiced her love for pro wrestling online. And now, with her SummerSlam role confirmed, speculation is growing that she might follow in the footsteps of other celebrity participants by getting physical in the ring.

Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez even threw down the gauntlet, challenging Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion to a tag team match. “That offer still stands,” said Morgan. “I’d love to beat them in my hometown.”

Should it happen, Cardi would join a growing list of hip hop stars — including Travis Scott and Sexyy Red — who’ve made waves in WWE.

Cardi B Discusses Including ‘WAP’ and ‘Up’ on New Album

Rapper says fan demand and legacy tracks deserve a spot

Cardi B is clapping back at critics questioning her decision to include past hits “WAP” and “Up” on her upcoming album Am I the Drama?, set to feature 23 tracks.

The Grammy-winning rapper took to social platform X to explain her choice, emphasizing that both singles, released in 2020 and 2021, are among her biggest hits. “This will be the last and only time I’m gonna address this,” Cardi wrote. “These songs deserve a home… my fans have been asking for this for years.”

She added that fan demand and continued search popularity on platforms like IOP drove her to finally include the tracks, even if they won’t contribute to first-week album sales. “I let haters make me not submit ‘WAP’ for the Grammys,” she said. “Now I’m doing it for the fans.”

Cardi’s bold response highlighted the double standards in the industry. “Do ya say anything when other artists pull out all their little tricks to sell out?” she asked.

Am I the Drama? marks Cardi B’s long-awaited second studio album, officially announced earlier this week.

‘Am I the Drama?’ set for September release with fiery visuals and bold words

After a seven-year hiatus since her Grammy-winning debut Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B has officially announced her long-anticipated second album, Am I the Drama?, set for release on September 19.

The Bronx rapper revealed the album’s striking cover art, which features her clad in a dramatic red gown, flanked by two crows—symbolizing transformation and perhaps, vengeance. In a passionate Instagram video accompanying the reveal, Cardi reflects on her journey, declaring, “Seven years of love, light and loss… I’m not your villain, I’m your karma.”

The rapper previously expressed frustration over pending guest features delaying the project, urging fellow artists on X Spaces to contribute, saying, “I’ll sing this s–t myself! But I really need y’all.”

The first single from the album, “Outside,” dropped last Friday and immediately sparked conversation for its fiery lyrics aimed at estranged husband Offset, whom she is currently divorcing. Cardi also makes a bold nod to new beau, NFL star Stefon Diggs, with unfiltered braggadocio.

Offset has yet to comment publicly on the diss-laden track, though he released his own new song, “Bodies,” featuring JID—conspicuously absent of any response.

Cardi B Claps Back at Hater with $7 Million Offer After TikTok Shade

The rapper shows her confidence and resilience, proving she doesn’t need TikTok to thrive

Cardi B is no stranger to online critics, and this weekend, she was quick to shut down a hater who made fun of female rappers following TikTok’s temporary outage in the U.S. The critic poked fun at the situation, writing, “Now all the tik tok female rappers gotta find real jobs,” followed by laughing emojis, and tagged Cardi in the post. Cardi didn’t waste any time hitting back.

“I’m getting 7 million dollar offers to do my own vitamins,” Cardi replied. “Babe, I can retire you from your flipping burger job by tomorrow.” She then added, “Thank me tho I been helping you get your 8.99$ twitter checks [kiss emoji].” The response was a powerful reminder of Cardi’s influence and success outside of TikTok.

This incident follows a string of fiery moments from the rapper. Earlier this month, Cardi went off on her ex Offset and his mother, accusing them of stealing from her and causing family drama. Some fans criticized her for airing her personal issues online, but Cardi defended her actions, explaining, “Yes, I crashed the fck out and I don’t give a fck. That’s just how I am. Sometimes people got to crash out to release stress.” Despite the backlash, she emphasized the importance of being true to herself, even when it might not be the most polished approach.

Cardi’s unwavering confidence and unfiltered responses continue to prove that she’s not one to back down from criticism—whether it’s about her career, her family, or anything else.

Bardi calls out Set for not buying Christmas gifts for their children while revealing she’s taking a break from dating to focus on her goals

Cardi B and Offset’s ongoing divorce has taken a messy turn, with Cardi B claiming that her soon-to-be ex-husband intentionally didn’t buy their three children Christmas gifts to spite her. Speaking to fans on X Spaces on Tuesday (January 14), the Bronx rapper expressed her frustration, saying, “Do you guys know that my kids didn’t receive no Christmas gifts from somebody in particular?”

She continued to call out Offset, accusing him of flying to New York to buy gifts for his other children while deliberately ignoring their shared kids. “A muthafucka thought he was gonna ruin my year and have me fucked up like they had me fucked up last year, but I’m so strong,” she added, clearly hurt but resilient. “Even after you try to ruin me by being spiteful towards me and my kids, I still got my ass up and went to fucking work.”

Cardi also noted Offset’s hypocritical behavior regarding his children. “You want to see the kids? You just called your daughter for the first time this year yesterday. Your newborn. You love your kids so much and you ain’t bought them shit for Christmas, but you came to New York to buy your other kids gifts, but you ain’t bought my kids shit on purpose to spite me.”

In addition to her frustrations with Offset, Cardi B recently revealed that she’s taking a break from dating in January to focus on her career. During a live social media session, she explained her decision to avoid distractions, including sex. “I don’t even want to take dick right now, because every single time I take dick, I get distracted. I don’t want no distraction,” she said.

Cardi B emphasized that January is a crucial month for her artistic goals, and any emotional or romantic entanglements would get in the way of her mission. “I’m a very emotional person, and when I get emotional, I don’t do things with love,” she said, explaining that her emotions can affect her work. “I don’t even want to entertain n-ggas right now until my work is out the way,” she added, expressing pride in her decision to stay focused.

Despite the emotional toll of her ongoing divorce, Cardi is determined to keep her focus on her professional goals and complete her mission for the year.

Cardi B is calling to quit her dating life for a bit… at least for January. The Bronx-born rap superstar turned into a social media live session last night to open up about his priorities as well as to end any distractions, including romance.

“I don’t even want to take dick right now, because every single time I take dick, I get distracted. I don’t want no distraction,” Cardi admitted quite candidly.. “I put a little pause on my dating life because January is very, very, very, very important, and I have a mission to complete. And if I don’t complete this mission, it’s gonna fuck up the schedule for this year.”

She added: “I’m a very emotional person, and when I get emotional, I don’t do things with love,” she described. “And you could hear it in my music: my voice cracks a lot. You could see it in my face when I work. I just don’t got thrive when I get emotional.

“I don’t even want to entertain n-ggas because I’m the type of person that, if I text you and you ain’t text me back in thirty minutes, you pissed me off. Cardi B Accused of Trying to Silence Tasha K in Legal Dispute

Tasha K accuses Cardi of trying to silence her in their legal fight

Cardi B is caught in fresh allegations directed at her by blogger Tasha K, who now claims the rapper is trying to hush her with regards to their continuing legal tussle, TMZ reported. On Wednesday, January 7, Tasha filed in federal bankruptcy court alleging that the actions of the rapper are not in her economic interest but rather seek to terminate Tasha’s bankruptcy proceedings and career.

This was part of a suit Carbi brought against Tasha K for $3.9 million in 2019, accusing the blogger of defamation through false words in his smear campaign. In Tasha’s world, it happened in the year 2023: she had filed for bankruptcy, but Cardi sought and got the case dismissed because she claimed that Tasha and her husband tried to hinder the collection of the judgment.

Tasha insists that Cardi’s motion to dismiss is but an attempt to silence her and jeopardize her livelihood with ludicrous restrictions on a broad-ranging non-disparagement clause. Tasha has filed with the court accusing Cardi of trying to kill her voice in this legal mess by moving to dismiss and further alleging that in her attempt to silence her voice, the court should end her bankruptcy case.

The legal battle goes on between the two celebs, and both have been tightly bound in this complex and ongoing battle.
