    Latto scores a new hit

    Latto recruited Cardi B on the remix of her song “Put It On The Floor,” which she also calls “Put It On The Floor Again,” and delivered it on June 2. This week, the record debuted at No. 13 on Billboard Hot 100, making it her highest debut on the chart.

    The original version of the song was released in April 21 after Latto previewed it at Coachella. Fans on social media presumed the track was a diss directed towards Nicki Minaj.

    Offset is gearing up to release his next solo studio album and now new details emerge. During an interview with Variety, the rapper played the album for the outlet which features Travis Scott, Future, Chloe Bailey, Latto, Cardi B, and of course, the late Takeoff.

    The “Ric Flair Drip” rapper explained that the song with Takeoff will be their last collab.

    It’s not clear if the forthcoming album will spawn more features. Stay tuned for more updates on Set’s new album.

    Cardi can now seize Tasha K’s property to compensate for the 2019 suit

    Cardi B has been granted a go-ahead to seize blogger Tasha K’s property to compensate for $3,868,753.47 in lawsuit. According to HipHopDx, the ruling was signed buy Judge Wiliam M. Ray II after Cardi’s legal team filed a writ of execution against Tasha K and Kebe Studio LLC on Thursday (April 20) in Georgia.

    Tasha K hopped on Twitter on Friday (April 21) pleading for more time to pay the money.

    “Look! Sis & Law I Know you need that cause work is slow for all of us right now, but right now, I ain’t got it!” she wrote. “But let your lawyers know that when I’m up, you gone be up & stuck…You get first dibs after this irs bill gets paid.”

    Cardi filed a defamation lawsuit against Tasha in 2019 for posting false reports about Cardi, including having herpes and using cocaine.

    Set and Cardi to appear on Baby Shark’s Big Movie

    Offset and Cardi B will be starring on Paramount+ upcoming film Baby Shark’s Big Movie along with their two kids, four-year-old Kulture and one-year-old Wave. Cardi announced her family’s role on the film in a tweet she shared on Thursday (March 30).

    “Happy to announce that me & my family will be in the BABY SHARKS BIG MOVIE,” Bardi wrote.

    Last April, Offset and Cardi appeared on a Baby Shark episode as Sharki B and Offshark. They’ll be reprising their roles on the forthcoming film.

    Cardi offered more time to complete her community service time in strip club assault case

    Cardi B has been offered additional time to complete her community service in the assault case stemming from a 2018 club fight. Per TMZ, the rapper failed to complete the 15 hours of service ordered to her by the judge after pleading guilty in the case to avoid jail time. She appeared in court on Tuesday (January 17) where a judge granted her up to March 1 to complete the time.

    Cardi B recently appeared on Revolt’s newly-launched The Jason Lee Show where she had an extensive discussion. The New York rapper explained why she never publicly address the rumors about Offset and Saweetie, blatantly saying the allegations are false.

    “I was quiet because one thing I’m gonna do, I’m gonna find out the truth,” Bardi said.

    “And you know that I was finding out that truth,” she added. “So, it’s like, if I entertain something that I know is not true, on the internet, people be like, ‘Oh, it is true because you’re addressing it. But when I don’t address it, it’s true or not, as well.

    “So, I’m like, you know what? I’m just not gonna entertain the bullsh*t, because if I entertain it, it’s gonna keep goin’ longer and longer.” Cardi continued, “At the end of the day, I know what’s going on in my house.”

    Cardi B and Offset have been together for around five years, but their relationship hasn’t been without hurdles. In 2020, Cardi filed for a divorce but shortly withdrew following their reconciliation. During a sit-down at the Jason Lee Show this week, Bardi explained that Set mended his ways following the divorce attempt.

    “Me and Offset, we was not seeing eye-to-eye,” Bardi told Jason Lee. “This was like, the same year I filed for divorce and everything. I’m gonna let him talk about this because the main thing that was really bothering me, I’ma let him say it. I want him to say it, because I feel like that’s really part of his story.”

    She continued, “The main thing that I wanted him to stop and everything, he stopped and he changed, and it showed me that he wanted to change for me.”

    Cardi B remembers the time her hubby Offset received a phone call about his cousin and Migos comrade Takeoff’s killing. During an interview with Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee on his eponymous podcast this week, the “Hot Shit” rapper recalled that they were in bed with Set when they received the unfortunate news in the early morning of November 1.

    “We were in bed. We were supposed to go to LaLa [Anthony]’s party in New York, and my daughter threw up all over my costume,” she recounted. “Halloween was over ’cause it was just so much throw-up on the costume and I ain’t have nothing to wear.”

    Cardi continued, “So we just fell asleep, and out of nowhere, Offset’s phone kept ringing, my phone kept ringing. Offset picked up the phone and he was just like, ‘No!’ He’s screaming and screaming. He’s screaming like, ‘No! No! No! No!’

    “I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’ And he’s like, ‘Takeoff is dead.’ I smacked him and said, ‘Don’t say that!’ And then he’s just like screaming and throwing things, throwing up, running all over. And I was so scared, I was crying so much. It was terrible.”
