    Treach remembers Eazy-E

Treach pays homage to the late Eazy-E on the 29th anniversary of his passing. The rapper shared his tribute on Instagram Tuesday (March 26) while revealing his pleasure of having known the N.W.A rapper.

“Rest in GANGSTERS PARADISE O.G,” Treach captioned his post. “You Kicked opened Doors for the Culture like no other, Its was Great knowing you Homie!!”

Although DJ Yella told TMZ back in November that it’s unlikely there’s any unreleased material by Eazy-E left, he did say “somebody’s working” on the West Coast legend’s AI-generated music.

Eazy-E’s son Lil Eazy also confirmed to the publication the possibilities of utilizing AI in the future. “We’ll see how that’s coming, you know what I mean?” Lil Eazy said. “There is, y’know, some hidden tracks out there, so we’ll see how that goes.”

Layzie Bone says Suge Knight’s Eazy-E AIDS injection claim ‘was my theory from the beginning’

Layzie also believed Eazy-E was injected with AIDS

Layzie Bone recently sat for an interview on The Art of Dialogue podcast where he revealed that he shared the same theory with Suge Knight that Eazy-E was injected with AIDS. Layzie added that it’s even possible that he came up with the theory first.

“Suge Knight [is] crazy, man. When he made reference to Eazy-E may have been injected with AIDS, that was my theory from the beginning. He probably heard us say that shit,” Layzie explained.

He continued, “We were all ignorant, it happened too fast. I don’t know if Suge was insinuating that he had something to do with it, but I know that statement had been out before.

“That was one of the theories: Eazy-E might have gone to the doctor and got injected with AIDS. Suge is Suge, he gonna say what he say and he crazy.”

    Eazy-E died on March 26, 1995

Compton rapper Eric “Eazy-E” Wright died from complications from HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, on March 26, 1995. He was well-known as an OG member of NWA and as a solo artist on Ruthless Records. He had beef with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, his former bandmates, but when he got sick, the men made amends the best they could.

Eazy-E was responsible for signing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Black-Eyed Peas, and opening doors for entrepreneurs like Diddy and Jay-Z by being a rapper and label owner. According to sources, he wasn’t even aware he had the disease when he got sick.

“On February 24, Eazy E checked into the hospital for what he and his closest friends believed was a case of chronic asthma. Doctors conducted tests and concluded he was HIV-positive and did not have long to live. In death, he proved even more generous than he had in life. On March 16, he issued a bold statement—the most important of his life—through his lawyer Ron Sweeney.”

The Last Days of Eazy E

10 days later, he passed. The moment was dramatized in the 2015 film Straight Outta Compton. Many site him sharing the news about his disease as one of the greatest acts of courage he performed during his short life.
