    Eminem just shocked the hell out of Latto as he admits he is a big fan of hers, making her feel a little bit awkward when they met.

    In an exclusive interview with The Jennifer Hudson Show dated December 4, Latto seemed like a little girl puppy excited to meet the legendary rapper when he came on board as a guest judge on Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow. “First, I was so gagged!” As she went on, she told how, at first, she thought she had just “bombed” it. “I was like, ‘Ahhh!’ I didn’t know what to say, so I just said ‘thank you!””

    Latto also shared how important this experience was, being that Eminem is one of her father’s favorites. “My daddy listened to Eminem so much growing up. That’s probably his favorite rapper,” she said while at the same time disbelief creasing her features when Eminem admitted to liking her. “He probably thinks I’m a little awkward,” Latto added about the meeting.

    According to TMZ, Nelson passed away on Monday night, December 2, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Eminem has not yet released any statement on her demise.

    Nelson’s terminal cancer diagnosis broke out in September when it was reported that she was seriously ill and not expected to have much longer to live. In Touch Weekly revealed that she had not been in contact with Eminem for some time, despite the rumor that he had been financially supporting her for years.

    Nelson had a history of health problems, which included being diagnosed with breast cancer. “I’m still under doctor’s care, which I probably will be for a while,” she said in a 2018 interview with The Village Voice. A lot of it is hereditary… Cancers, heart disease, and all the genetic things…I worry about my boys, having high blood pressure and things.”

    This collapse kills one more crucial chapter in the life of the rapper, who, by his own admission, has always turned back into songs, making the mother one of the main characters of his lyrics. Eminem (a.k.a. Marshall Mathers) typically reminisced about his troubled relationship with his mother.

    Per the most recent update by KWORB, reporting data as of Thursday (November 21), the album has registered 1.3 billion streams on the platform.

    The project is in the running for Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards, with its lead single ‘Houdini’ also nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Music Video.

    This achievement also comes towards the end of the year, which has been very fruitful for Eminem, who was recently revealed as one of the 26 Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) nominees for the year 2025. Twenty years after the release of their first commercially successful recording, whomever this refers, they may be inducted.

    As per a report by The U.S. Sun, an unnamed source has indicated that Slim Shady was in New Jersey a week ago, on Tuesday (November 6), to shoot some scenes for the film.

    “Em is a big fan of the original movie, and he was a total pleasure to work with. He was just super low key, he didn’t have a big entourage, and was just an absolute delight on set,” the source revealed.

    The source added that Em’ is “playing a comedic role and he really had fun with it.”

    Eminem and N.W.A are part of 26 artists on the nominees list of the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) which will see only six being inducted.

    Usually, songwriters are inducted only if 20 years have passed since their commercial debut. .

    The winners will receive their awards at the 2025 Induction & Awards Gala in New York City next June. As the nominees were unveiled, the SHOF gave commendation to five tracks that it indicated are a “representative sample” of the vast creative works of the artists, per Recording Academy.

    Songs lined for Eminem include “Lose Yourself,” “Stan,” “Mockingbird,” “Houdini” and “Rap God,” while for N.W.A, the songs include: “Express Yourself, “Dopeman,” “Fuck Tha Police,” “Gangsta Gangsta” and “Straight Outta Compton.”

    Eminem’s mother Debbie Mathers’ life is reportedly on a countdown due to terminal lung cancer, In Touch Weekly reported. Per the report, Debbie doesn’t have much time left.

    “There are not many options [for Debbie]. She is currently staying between the cancer center and with family members. She has a very limited amount of time [left],” the report quotes a source.

    The article continues that although Eminem has been taking care of his mother’s finances over the years, they don’t really communicate and it’s not certain if he is aware of her situation. “People around her aren’t even sure if Eminem is even aware of what is happening to his mother. He’s good to his mom. He makes sure he takes care of her, but they don’t really talk,” the source added.

    “It would be good for both of them [to communicate]. This could give them the chance to reconcile.”
