Per the former Death Row Records chief, following 2Pac’s death, many people wanted in as far as the All Eyez On Me rapper’s posthumous releases were concerned. As such, according to Suge, Eminem ended up entirely producing the 2004 album, Loyal to the Game, which was a flop.

“A lot of people been wanting to do songs with ‘Pac and some people even did some shit with ‘Pac,” Suge claimed. “There was only one 2Pac project that ever flopped before, and that’s the one Eminem did on all the releases. All the rest of them were successful.”

Juice’s mom says Lil Bibby is hard at work on the album

Juice Wrld’s mother Carmela Wallace shares more details about the rapper’s next posthumous album, The Party Never Ends. In a recent interview with XXL, Wallace said she believes the project should arrive in 2024 as Juice’s label-head Lil Bibby is working hard to put it together.

“I know that Brandon, [Lil] Bibby is putting in a lot of work to make it really good,” she explained. “I mean, he’s really committed and dedicated to being proud of it, you know. He puts a lot of time and effort into what he produces, so, I know that the love is there. I know that the commitment is there and I know he wants everything to be perfect.”

She also urged fans not to leak music from the album. “So, it’s coming and people should stop stealing music. I just have to throw that in there, too, because that messes up things as well. People want stuff they haven’t heard, but, you know, that’s an issue,” she added.

Last week, Juice’s team unleashed a new track, “Lace It,” with assistance from Eminem and Benny Blanco. The record serves as the lead single for the forthcoming project, which is supposed to be Juice’s last posthumous release.

Juice WRLD, Eminem & Benny Blanco Collab on Lead Single ‘Lace It’

Juice WRLD and Eminem have reunited over a Benny Blanco produced song titled ‘Lace It’. The single was officially released on streaming platforms on December 16th, 2023.

On the track, Juice WRLD reflects heavily on substance abuse. Eminem then touches on the deaths of many rappers due to drug overdose, including Lil Peep, Shock G, Pimp C, Prince, and Michael Jackson.

This collab marks the second collaboration between Juice WRLD and Eminem after Eminem’s ‘Godzilla’ track on his ‘Music to be Murdered By‘ album in 2020, which also served as Juice WRLD’s first posthumous release since his passing. Juice WRLD previously listed Eminem as one of his biggest influences and has frequently referenced him and his music.

According to Juice WRLD’s co-manager, Lil Bibby, ‘Lace It’ seems to serve as the lead single for Juice WRLD’s final posthumous album ‘The Party Never Ends‘. On December 15, 2023 Lil Bibby took to Instagram with the song’s official cover art and teasing the release.

“Watching Eminem record and his whole recording process,” he explained. “That might’ve been one of the highlights of my career, because I don’t know if you want to call it weird or legendary or some Einstein type of shit, evil genius type of shit, but Em is a very, very complex and different individual in good ways.

“When he writes raps, he turns the paper around — he just writes in circles and turns it,” Game continued. “When he reads it, he turns it back the opposite way and starts to read it … when we were using paper, I don’t know his recording process these days […] That process was dope. I’m forever grateful for being able to experience, y’know, prime Eminem in his essence in Detroit.”
