    This week, a fan on X claimed that Pluto and Drizzy are beefing over a woman, before Metro pushed back the rumors with the reply: “Yall n****s stop making stuff up for engagement and enjoy the music.”

    Future and Metro Boomin released one of the biggest albums so far in 2024 last Friday titled We Don’t Trust You. According to Spotify, the body of work earned the biggest first-day streaming on the platform. “On Friday, March 22, Future and Metro Boomin’s WE DON’T TRUST YOU became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 so far,” Spotify announced on X Saturday (March 23).

    Per reports on social media, the album is on pace to sell 190k-200k album-equivalent units in the first week, which could place it at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

    Future and Metro Boomin finally unleashed their highly-anticipated joint album, We Don’t Trust You, on Friday (March 22) and fans have been going wild on streaming platforms.

    According to HitsDD, the LP is projected to command 190k-220k equivalent album units in the first week, which will set it on path to the top spot on the Billboard 200.

    The project features Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott and Playboi Carti. K-Dot’s feature on “Like That” has particularly been catching a lot of attention as it sees him going after his supposedly fellow Big 3iers Drake and J. Cole.

    Drake has several No. 1 hits in his career, and one of them is “Wait For U,” featuring Future and Nigerian singer Tems. According producer ATL Jacob, however, Tems was reluctant to clear the song and Drizzy had to personally call her.

    “Tems wouldn’t clear the song,” Jacob said in a clip from an unreleased interview with The Baller Alert Show. “So Future pulled in — his relationship with Drake was like, ‘Can you get the song cleared?’ So Drake had to call Tems and be like, ‘Hey man.’”

    The track was released in 2022 and emerged at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It went on to win the Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

    Future and Zaytoven have proved to be a formidable force as a duo and even have one of the most iconic mixtapes under them, Beast Mode. However, their relationship hasn’t always been like this.

    In an old clip of Zay’s interview on R&B Money Podcast, the producer revealed that during their early days of working together, he wasn’t impressed by Future. “I worked with Future from his first mixtape, back from I thought Future wasn’t even all that good,” Zaytoven explained.

    “I remember Rocko used to bring Future to my house in the studio and they’d do a song, and I’d take Future’s verse off the song,” he added. “That’s how much I didn’t really like his stuff. Now, he’s my favorite to me right now. Ain’t nobody better than him. But back then it’s like, ‘Ahh, that ain’t it.’ He was getting his reps in.”

    Doe Boy raised some eyebrows back in March when he shared his opinion on Twitter that Future is better rapper than the late 2Pac. During a recent conversation with Sharp of No Jumper, the Ohio rapper was asked about the controversial tweet, only for him to back up his claims.

    “Yeah, Future is better than 2Pac? It’s facts! I really believe this and a mother*cker can’t argue with me. At the end of the day it’s my opinion,” he explained. “You gotta understand I’m 29 years old. I don’t even need like, I love 2Pac but I don’t really know his music enough to like… I love him as a person. I love his personality.”

    Metro Boomin is fresh off releasing the Spider-Man: Spider-Verse Soundtrack which dropped late last month, but he still has his sleeves rolled up for his upcoming collab album with Future. Recently speaking to Complex, the “Niagra Falls” producer revealed that he is now fully focused on completing the highly-anticipated project.

    “The ultimate album right now is about to be the one with me and Future,” Metro explained. “Now that Spider-Man is out and people are loving and resonating with it, my focus can go to what me and Pluto got coming out. I’m not doing anything until that gets done.”

    He added, “It’s tunnel vision on that one because I was spreading myself thin between Heroes & Villains, Spider-Man, Coachella, and still shooting videos for Heroes. But now the focus is on this album and we’ve been working.”
