    Polo G, Southside and Pluto spotted shooting a music video

    Polo G, Southside and Future are joining forces on an upcoming gem. On Tuesday (January 17), Southside, who is the leader of the 808 Mafia producer collective, shared photos from a music video set that featured Capalot and Hendrixx as well.

    “Motion picture shit it’s almost that Time @polo.capalot @future TTG,” Southside wrote in the caption.

    Polo G and Southside currently have a joint album in the vault which they have had their sleeves rolled up for since 2021. While both artists haven’t revealed the official title or release date for the body of work, they’ve teased two possible titles in the past: 1300×800 and Northside.

    Trippie Redd reveals the tracklist for his album ‘Mansion Musik’

    Trippie Redd is getting all set to unleash his next studio album, Mansion Musik. On Monday (January 16), the Ohio rapper shared a 25-song tracklist for the project that features Lil Baby, Future, Juice Wrld, Chief Keef, Kodak Black, Rich The Kid, Nardo Wick, Big30, Ski Mask The Slump God, Rob49, among others.

    The album, which is executive-produced by Chief Keef, boasts production from the likes of Chopsquad DJ, dreamr., Pi’erre Bourne, star boy, and more.
    Although the rapper had previously announced that he’s working on the fifth installment of A Love Letter To You mixtape series, he revealed in October last year that he’ll be releasing his fifth album.

    Future’s No. 1 hit “Wait For U” which features Drake and Nicki Minaj has now sold over 4M units in the U.S., making it the first collab released in 2022 to reach that commercial height. The record is now eligible for 4x platinum certification.

    The song was released as the second single from Future’s ninth studio album, I Never Liked You, which arrived in April. It debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, making it Pluto’s second chart-topper across all credits, and his first as the lead artist. It also marked Drake’s tenth and Tems’ first No. 1 hit.

    The track samples Tems’ 2020 song, “Higher,” which appeared on her EP, For Broken Ears.

    Future’s I Never Liked You is on top of the charts of the best-selling rap albums in 2022. According to data shared by XXL this week, Future leads the list with 1.4M units, followed by Lil Durk’s 7220 with 1.3M units, then by Drake’s Certified Lover Boy with 1.2M units.

    Other rap albums on the top 9 sellers this year include, Gunna’a DS4EVER, Doja Cat’s Planet Her, and Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers which all tie with 1.1M units. Lil Baby’s It’s Only Me, Drake & 21 Savage’s Her Loss, and Post Malone’s Holywood’s Bleeding follow with 980K, 931K, and 876K units respectively.

    Metro Boomin reveals Future’s strange studio requirements. During a recent interview with The Full Send Podcast, the “Creepin’” producer explained that Future prefers the studio dark when he’s recording. Strangely enough, he rocks dark shades most of the time.

    “You might come in the studio with future one day and it’s just him and engineers with candles lit and it’s just dark,” Metro told hosts, Kyle Forgeard and Aaron Steinberg. “Future like the studio dark any time anyway. Like he like damn near pitch black with the shades on and I still don’t know how he does but, you know what I’m saying.”

    Future scores his tenth Top 10 song on Billboard Hot 100, thanks to Metro Boomin’s “Super Heroes” which features Chris Brown as well. The track debuted at No. 8 this week.

    As for Chris Brown, this marks his 17th Top 10 song and for Metro, it’s his fourth.

    Future now has an overall 157 entries on the Hot 100.

    “Super Heroes” is the second song on Metro’s latest album, Heroes & Villains. All 15 songs from the album have occupied the chart. The album itself is currently leading the Billboard 200.

    Offset and Future have new music on the way

    With a new album on the horizon, Offset teases a new song with an appearance from Future. A clip surfaced on social media Sunday (November 27) showing Set rocking a painted face like the Joker with a prop rifle in his hand, dancing to the snippet in an open street.

    Offset initially planned to deliver his sophomore solo studio album on November 11, but had to delay it following the death of his fellow Migos member and cousin, Takeoff. Per a report by HipHopDx, a fan page user inquired from the Atlanta artist earlier this month if the release date would remain the same, but he revealed it was pushed back without providing any further information.
