Latto recruited Cardi B on the remix of her song “Put It On The Floor,” which she also calls “Put It On The Floor Again,” and delivered it on June 2. This week, the record debuted at No. 13 on Billboard Hot 100, making it her highest debut on the chart.
The original version of the song was released in April 21 after Latto previewed it at Coachella. Fans on social media presumed the track was a diss directed towards Nicki Minaj.
Offset’s next album will include his last collab with Takeoff
Offset is gearing up to release his next solo studio album and now new details emerge. During an interview with Variety, the rapper played the album for the outlet which features Travis Scott, Future, Chloe Bailey, Latto, Cardi B, and of course, the late Takeoff.
The “Ric Flair Drip” rapper explained that the song with Takeoff will be their last collab.
Latto is officially off the hook in her LAX gun case. Per TMZ, L.A Superior Court Clark revealed that Latto’s case has been dismissed since “per her diversion program, Latto completed a gun & safety course, 120 hours of community service, and avoided all firearms to get it done.”
Latto’s lawyer Jamal Tooson said in a statement: “I am extremely pleased with the outcome and glad my client can move forward with her flourishing career.”
The “Put It On Da Floor” rapper was apprehended in 2021 at LAX after she was busted with a loaded gun while trying to board a plane to Atlanta. She was handed a 12-month diversion program 2022.
Latto released a new song last Friday (April 21) titled, “Put It On The Floor,” where she name-dropped Coi Leray rapping: “Smokin’ on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray / B**ches like to run their mouths but I’m the type to run the fade.”
At first, Coi didn’t react too well to the mention, accusing Latto of body shaming her among other things like trying to start feuds with other female rappers to imitate their male counterparts. Later on, the “Players” rapper returned on Twitter revealing that she “overreacted.” She also revealed that she isn’t a big fan being mentioned in songs.
During her Cochella performance over the weekend, Latto recited the part with Coi’s name, but after the song ended she said, “Aye, Coi. By the way I love your body, baby.”
It looks like Latto still has smoke for Nicki Minaj. In a new song released on Friday (April 21), Latto seemingly lyrically assaults the “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” rapper. On the song titled “Put It On Da Floor,” Latto spits: “Bitches acting like they running shit, they really ran through,” adding, “She thought I would kiss her ass, she mustn’t have took her meds.”
She continues, “Say she got a problem, imaginary smoke/Bitch, you said it’s up, then put on the floor.”
Prior to the release of the song and during her performance at Coachella last weekend, Latto recited these lyrics and according toTMZ, she ended her set with the words: “Pussy hoe… Let a bitch know, we tired of the subtweets this year.”
Latto and Nicki found themselves at odds in 2022 when the latter’s “Super Freaky Girl” was left out in all Rap categories at the Grammys. Nicki questioned why Latto’s crossover hit “Big Energy” was not left out in the Rap categories.

Kodak Black doesn’t agree with Latto winning Song Of The Year at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards
Kodak Black isn’t very happy with Latto’s “Big Energy” winning Song Of The Year Award at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards over “Super Gremlin.” Outside a series of posts Yak made about Latto and BET, the Pompano Beach rapper also hopped on Instagram Live this week and called the 23-year old femcee a “frappuccino.”
“This whole sh** looked like a damn plot,” he said. “Then I look at the ‘gram like what shorty blocked me for? They probably hollerin’ at BET, like don’t give him that sh**. I told [people] weeks ago. Watch they finna play with me and give it to frappuccino.”
Shortly after, Latto shared several pictures of herself with the caption, “Frappuccino.”
