    The NYPD filed a complaint report, but Method Man, whose real name is Clifford Smith, was not arrested. His lawyer has denied the allegations, asserting that the rapper has not been arrested or involved in any criminal action related to the incident.

Meanwhile, Fat Joe shared that he went through a particularly dark time after losing Big Pun and several family members, reflecting on how those events deeply impacted him.

    “I go through these bouts with certain shit. It never really goes away,” Meth revealed, before emphasizing the importance of friends checking on each other.

    Joe chimed in, adding: “I went through depression after my sister died, Pun died, my grandfather [at the] same time. So I was two years straight going to therapists. It could be a sunny day [and] shit look dark outside.”

    “Snoop has transcended rapper. He has transcended artist,” Meth said. “Snoop is a franchise now. He should just be an ambassador for our music, period. Or hold classes on how to broaden your horizons, how to master different trades how to market yourself. Because Snoop is doing incredible things and we’re looking at more than 30 years, Stephen. 30 years and he doesn’t even have to drop music and that’s the beauty of it!”

He probably just in his feelings,” he explained. “He probably gon’ perform at a future event, you know what I’m saying? But shout out to him. People got different … I don’t know. That’s New York, though. Everybody supposed to know who he is.

    “It don’t matter. That’s crazy. I didn’t know that. There probably was a lot of young people in the audience. Shout out to him. He’s definitely a legend, for sure. He entitled to respond however he feel like. It’s gon’ be all good.”

    Wu-Tang Clan rappers Method Man and Redman hit Hot 97 Summer Jam’s stage on June 2 at the UBS Arena in Belmont, New York, but the former wasn’t satisfied with the crowd’s response.

    The rapper slid into the comments of an Instagram post about their performance declaring that they won’t return to the show since the event was overshadowed by younger artists.

    “Not our crowd at all,” Meth wrote. “Thanks again, New York and the whole tri-state (that showed up to the event) plus Pete[er Rosenberg] and Ebro [Darden] I got love for you guys, but never again.. at this point the generation gap is just too wide for me.. #nevercomingback”

    “Anthony Mackie, brilliant fucking actor. I love him and he deserves all the accolades that he gets,” Meth explained. “Except for that 2Pac role. I ain’t like that shit. You shouldn’t have took that one, bro. Your agent, I hope you got rid of that n-gga.”

    After briefly explaining the difficulties of representing Pac in a film, he offered some tricks. “You have to really embody, not just the rap part or the thug part, but his whole mentality, his aura,” he said. “Everything about him was just different from anything we’d seen before.”

His car pull up, I go to the car, ‘Bow, bow, bow … whatever, whatever.’ I’m slacking. I’m not even focused right now. Dude pull up … I got like 10 joints in my hand. I’m like, ‘How many you want?’ I’m in the window like this, ‘How many you want brother?’ Smacks my hand, pulls off. I ain’t trip, though, because I knew he was gonna come back.”
