    Here are the First Week Sales for Migos’ ‘Culture III’ and Polo G’s ‘Hall of Fame’

    Polo G earns his first number one album

    Migos and Polo G released their respective albums, Culture III and Hall of Fame last Friday (June 11), and they’ve been contending for the number one spot. Since the beginning of last week, projections have been indicating that Polo would potentially outsell Migos in the first week.

    Well, it’s now official that Polo G debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart for the first time, with HoF selling 143K album-equivalent units. Migos follows in the second spot with Culture III moving 138K album-equivalent units.

    Migos followed up their album with the deluxe version just six days after the original version dropped – Thursday (June 17). The expanded version arrived with five additional songs. While it’s not officially affirmed, the deluxe was seemingly an attempt to reinforce Culture III in the quest for number one against Polo G.

    It hasn’t yet been a week since Migos blessed us with Culture III, and the trio is already back with more new music. Today (June 17), Quavo, Offset and Takeoff unleashed the deluxe version of their latest album.

    The expanded version comes with five additional tracks: “How We Coming,” “How Did I,” “New Money,” “Menace,” and, “Working A Fool.”

    The Atlanta group is projected to secure the second spot on Billboard 200, with the standard version expected to sell 125K album-equivalent units this week.

    Polo G is Projected to Earn His First Number 1 Album With ‘Hall of Fame’

    The first-week sales projections for Migos and Polo G’s albums are in

    According to a post by Hits Daily Double, Polo G is projected to debut at the top of Billboard 200 for the first time as Hall of Fame is expected to sell 165-175k album-equivalent units this week.

    Migos’s latest effort, Culture 3, is predicted to move 125-135k album-equivalent units. These numbers should be enough to place the trio in second place on the charts.

    Polo G’s album was supported by a few singles among them “RAPSTAR,” which peaked at number one on Billboard 100. Culture 3 was well-received as fans had to wait for three years for the group to deliver their fourth studio album. Congratulations to Polo G and Migos for the impressive opening week numbers.

    Migos appear on Jimmy Fallon

    As they warm up to release their album, Migos make a TV appearance Wednesday night (June 9), taking the show to preview their new Culture III single, “Avalanche,” which arrives Thursday (June 10). The track is an interpolation of the Temptation’s “Papa is a Rolling Stone.”

    The trio rocked black suits and black hats, performing the new track with a live band. The performance was done remotely in an undisclosed studio.

    Culture III arrives Friday (June 11). With 19 total tracks on it, the album features Drake, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Future, Polo G, Pop Smoke, and Juice WRLD.

    Migos are dropping ‘Culture 3’ on June 11

    After unveiling the artwork for their upcoming album ‘Culture 3,’ Migos are back with the official tracklist. On Tuesday (June 8), the group shared on Instagram the 19-song tracklist with notable guest appearances from Drake, Cardi B, Polo G, Future, Justin Bieber, Juice Wrld, Pop Smoke, and NBA YoungBoy.

    The fourth studio album includes previously-released singles “I Need It” with Youngboy, and “Straightenin’” whereas other older songs like “Give No Fxck,” and “Racks 2 Skinny” have been left out.

    “Friday We Set The Bar!” the trio’s frontman, Quavo captioned his post.

    It’s been over three years since the trio dropped an album together – Culture II that was packed with a whopping 24 tracks. Just like its follow up, it featured Drake on their smash hit “Walk It Talk It.” It also featured the likes of 21 Savage, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Cardi B among others.

    Migos Return with a New ‘Culture 3’ Single “Straightenin”

    Migos release new anticipated single

    Rap trio Migos are back with a new single titled “Straightenin.” Earlier in the week, the group announced the single on Instagram, noting that it will appear on their upcoming album Culture 3. On Friday, May 14, the ATL group kept their promise and released the single along with its video.

    Produced by DJ Durel, , Sluzyyy, OSIRIS, Nuki & Slime Castro, the music video for the track features the three rappers flexing luxury cars and large stacks of cash.

    “Straightenin” is a track off “Superstar” rappers’ next album Culture 3, which will see the light later in the year. In April, Quavo tweeted that the album wa was in the mixing stage.

    After many setbacks and chemistry delays, Migos — Offset, Takeoff, and Quavo — are back on June 11 with their third installment of Culture.

    The media release reads as such:

    “Atlanta, GA (May 17, 2021) – The following statement was released today by the Migos through their label Quality Control Muisc, located in Atlanta, GA, in response to questions about Culture III. ‘June 11th. We’re Back.”

    Migos’ anticipated ‘Culture 3’ album is coming, as expected

    Migos’ Culture 3 may have been delayed, but the trio of Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff are back working. Offset furthers this anticipation by sharing a new verse from an unreleased song.

    Offset took to his Instagram to preview the new song. The song is without an official title or release, but it’s showing Offset in rapping shape.

    When Quavo was caught outside of a restaurant with now-ex-girlfriend Saweetie, the 29-year-old rapper said the album is coming in a month and a half. Now, he announced this information in February, so, we’re turning the corner for when the third installment should be arriving.
