    Roddy Rich drops first music video from The Big 3 EP

    Roddy Ricch drops off the first video off his new EP, The Big 3. On Monday (June 27), Roddy unleasehd the visuals for ‘’Real Talk,’’ with Mustard, directed by Colin Tilley. The record is poduced by J Holt & Mustard.

    The Compton sensation’s new EP is made up of three songs: ‘’Real Talk,’’ ‘’Tootsies,’’ and ‘’No Mop.’’ Released on (June 24), the project comes ahead of Roddy’s next album, Feed Tha Streets 3.

    The upcoming full length project will follow up Roddy’s sophomore studio album, LIVE LIFE FAST, released in December 2021. It debuted at No. 4 on Billboard 200 earning 62k units in the first week.

    Roddy Ricch and Mustard got another one

    Roddy Ricch shares a snippet of an unreleased track produced by Mustard. On Monday (May 10), the “Perfect Timing” rapper took to Twitter to preview the new music, titled “Late at Night.” From the barely 30-second snippet, you can tell the song is love-themed.

    The last time RR and Mustard joined forces was in 2019’s “Ballin,” a single that appeared on the latter’s album Perfect Ten. The single became one of the biggest songs of that year, peaking at number 11 on Billboard Hot 100. It has since been certified 5× platinum in the US.

    Roddy is gearing up to deliver the follow-up to his 2019 debut album Excuse Me for Being Antisocial. In February, the Grammy-winning artist hinted that his next project will be Feed Tha Streets 3, the third installment of the series that started in 2017.

    In a March interview with Complex, Roddy provided more details about his next album. “With my next project, I’m going to be more vulnerable,” he said. “I’m going to bring fans into my world more. I’m learning the balance. Like, OK, I’m not on Instagram, so I feel like I’ve got to bring them into my life more so they can feel me a little more.”

    Mustard and Roddy Ricch stack more certifications to “Ballin”

    Mustard and Roddy Ricch’s 2019 smash “Ballin” has earned the two a quadruple platinum plaque, after it sold four million units in the US. The track was released in 2019 as the third single from Mustard’s Perfect Ten album. It peaked at number 11 on Billboard Hot 100, making it the producer’s highest charting song. It was one of the biggest hits of 2019.


    Elsewhere, Gunna is also celebrating some success after receiving five certifications from RIAA. Two tracks from his 2019 album ‘Drip or Drown 2’: ‘Baby Birkin’ and ‘Who You Foolin’ have been certified platinum and gold respectively. The other three tracks are from last year’s WUNNA album: “Dallaz on My Head” featuring Young Thug, “SKYBOX” and “Wunna” which have all been certified gold, meaning they’ve moved half a million units in the US.

    Many may say radio play doesn’t matter, however, there’s an audience, for everything. Urban radio is market that artists like Wale thrives. For DaBaby, he’s thrived, significantly, being 2020’s most played artist on Urban Radio.

    In May, DaBaby’s Roddy Ricch-assisted single went platinum. The song was released on DaBaby’s Blame It On Baby album, which dropped in April. It took a little over a month for the song to go platinum, which is impressive.
