A New Photo of NBA YoungBoy in Jail Surfaces

NBA YoungBoy is still serving his time, but in good spirits

A new photo of a smiling NBA Youngboy in jail has surfaced. Appearing to be in high spirits, the rapper is posted with three other inmates.

The photo comes after Youngboy’s bond was revoked by a Louisiana judge on April 1. The 21-year old artist was granted a $540 000 bond in the Central District of California, but it was up to a Louisiana judge to approve the bond. He will remain in custody until his next trial but a bond may be granted if evidence to be obtained in future favors him.

The judge said that the ruling was based on the Baton Rouge artist’s past criminal record and his attempt to run during his arrest in California. “No condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community if the Defendant is allowed bond before trial. Defendant’s criminal history includes violent crimes and the crime for which Defendant has been indicted involved possession of a firearm. Defendant attempted to flee during his arrest, which is indicative of a lack of respect for law enforcement and the law. Defendant also has a history of drug use,” stated the Louisiana judge.

YB was arrested in California in March after a brief persuasion by the Feds. The arrest stemmed from a September 2020 incident in Baton Rouge where the artist was arrested among 15 other people during a music video shoot. He was reportedly found with two firearms during the arrest.

We will keep updating you about the case so keep an eye out.

NBA YoungBoy facing more legal trouble

Since YoungBoy Never Broke Again secured his spot in the rap game, he has had multiple run-ins with the law over the years. It looks like the 21-year-old rapper is in another legal trouble again. According to TMZ, Youngboy, real name Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested in Los Angeles on Monday (March 22).

It’s reported that LAPD tried to pull over a vehicle that YoungBoy was riding in because he has an outstanding federal warrant before he tried to escape. After a police chase, the vehicle stopped and YB allegedly hopped out and ran on foot. LAPD reportedly established a perimeter and used a K-9 unit to locate the rapper. The dogs didn’t harm the “Lonely Child” artist but did sniff him out. Police allegedly found weapons in the car but it’s unclear if they belong to YoungBoy. It is also not clear what part of LA the incident went down.

NBA YoungBoy Allegedly Failed to Show Up After J Cole Waited Eight Hours in the Studio

“YoungBoy be going through shit. He’s living life, he’s going through shit,” says DJ Akademiks.

J Cole allegedly waited 8 hours for a studio session with Youngboy Never Broke Again, but YB reportedly never showed up. DJ Akademiks made the allegations while streaming live on Twitch. “YoungBoy be going through shit. He’s living life, he’s going through shit. YoungBoy said, ‘Yo, my energy is not fit to be in the studio with that guy.’ It wasn’t about J. Cole. It was just that he, and personally what he was going through, wasn’t fit to be in that environment.”

Ak claims that YB, who didn’t inform the patiently waiting Cole that he wouldn’t make it, wasn’t in the right state of mind, and that he didn’t want to ruin the energy in the studio.

“J. Cole waited in the studio for eight hours for YoungBoy to show up,” Akademiks explained. “YoungBoy didn’t show up. Facts. These are facts! Your favorite rapper, ni**a. J. Cole? He sat in the studio for eight hours for a session with YoungBoy. YoungBoy never showed up.”
