Rakim will no longer be touring in Europe. According to HipHopDX, one of the tour promoters sent an email to the publication that was allegedly forwarded by the rapper’s management to all promoters which announced the cancelation.

The management explained that “Rakim’s planned European tour in May and June is no longer a feasible possibility for us.” They added that the New York rapper faced “travel logistics, medical complications, personal obligations,” as well as “mental and physical exhaustion after a year in which Rakim performed at over 120 events.”

Although the promoter called Rakim’s excuses “pure bullshit” and that he’s ruining his “legacy in Europe,” the management further explained that the Paid In Full rapper “does not fly” and that “securing his travel by boat (the Queen Mary) was impossible and most of the suitable ground transport on the continent was either booked, simply too expensive or required re-routing dates.”
