  • Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy Attend Trump’s First-Ever Crypto Ball

Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy Attend Trump’s First-Ever Crypto Ball

Unlikely guests at pro-Trump event, including Snoop, surprise fans with appearances

Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy were among the high-profile guests at the first-ever Crypto Ball, a star-studded party held to welcome the incoming administration of Donald Trump. The event took place on January 17 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., and was hosted by David Sacks, the Silicon Valley investor appointed by Trump as the “White House A.I. and Crypto Czar” last month.

The exclusive party, which cost attendees between $2,500 and $5,000, was media-free, but footage from the event surfaced showing Snoop Dogg proudly declaring, “They let a real Crip up in the Crypto Ball.” His attendance at a pro-Trump event raised eyebrows, especially given his strong criticism of artists who performed for Trump during his first inauguration in 2017.

Snoop’s shift in stance toward Trump occurred after the former president commuted the prison sentence of Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris in his final days in office. Snoop, who played a role in advocating for Harris’ release, expressed gratitude for Trump’s decision, signaling a more conciliatory relationship between the two.

Other artists, including Nelly, Rod Wave, Kodak Black, and Fivio Foreign, are also reportedly set to attend Trump-themed events surrounding the inauguration.

Snoop reveals plans to bring 213’s The Hard Way and Nate Dogg’s unreleased material to streaming platforms

During a recent appearance on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, Snoop shared his intention to reclaim and remaster 213’s debut album, The Hard Way, with hopes of releasing it through Death Row Records, the label he now controls.

  • Outlawz Member Young Noble Calls Out Snoop Dogg Over 2Pac-Nas Confrontation Story

Outlawz Member Young Noble Calls Out Snoop Dogg Over 2Pac-Nas Confrontation Story

Young Noble challenged Snoop’s version of the Pac-Nas confrontation, criticizing exaggerated retellings

In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, Young Noble, a member of the Outlawz, challenged Snoop Dogg’s version of a famous confrontation between 2Pac and Nas that took place in Bryant Park in the 1990s. Noble expressed his frustration with how the story has evolved over the years, calling out various exaggerated retellings, particularly Snoop’s.

He clarified the details, stating that Nas, accompanied by about seven people, approached 2Pac and his entourage, which numbered around 30-40. According to Noble, Nas was calm and collected, walking up without hesitation to speak with 2Pac. “It was as gangsta as it gets,” he remarked, dismissing the embellished versions of the event that have circulated in the years since.

Noble specifically addressed Snoop’s retelling, where the Doggfather claimed Nas had 2Pac surrounded. “That version was the most off,” he said, explaining that Snoop might have misunderstood the situation, especially since he wasn’t present with 2Pac at the time. Despite the correction, Noble offered respect for Snoop, acknowledging that he may have simply misinterpreted the events.

Snoop Dogg Defends Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Slot Against Criticism

Snoop Dogg has reacted to the debates surrounding the Super Bowl halftime show, set to take place next year, as he directs his attack on Lil Wayne, who criticizes Kendrick Lamar’s soon-to-be performance.

In the Drink Champs interview with Dr. Dre, Snoop during the talk was asked whether Kendrick should be controversial for that particular season of Super Bowl, the main argument given being that a host tradition is that the halftime artist should come from the city, of New Orleans.

Snoop countered, saying, “What we need to think about is that those n-ggas performing before JAY-z got hold of the Super Bowl.” According to him more doors have been opened for the black artist to perform in that prestigious event at present adding that, “If you are a great artist, then your time will come.”

Snoop also pointed out that he was not complaining when Dre called on him for the 2022 halftime show in L.A. while he was among featured artists that included Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and 50 Cent. “I was never crying about it or mad about it,” Snoop said, adding that he didn’t feel entitled to a spot.

He ended by boosting the support of hip-hop artists in the Super Bowl, stating, “You just should be proud that Hip Hop is able to be seen on that stage, for all of us, and not hate on the next man, but be happy.”

Snoop Dogg has shown interest in becoming the next host of the popular UK cooking off-master competition MasterChef.

The spot for co-host became vacant last week when the longtime co-host of the show Gregg Wallace decided to quit after facing some allegations of sexual misconduct on the sets.
