Polo G and Southside currently have a joint album in the vault which they have had their sleeves rolled up for since 2021. While both artists haven’t revealed the official title or release date for the body of work, they’ve teased two possible titles in the past: 1300×800 and Northside.

    Southside previews new Future song

After a relatively quiet year in 2021, Future is looking to serve the streets with new music this year. On Wednesday (January 19), Future’s long-time collaborator and 808 Mafia producer, Southside, took to Instagram to reveal footage of him and Pluto bumping to an unreleased song in the studio.

In the caption, Southside suggests that he’s been working on new music with the Freebandz leader for a minute. “Produced by me when I say I’m wrking I meant it @future,” the producer wrote.

Known to flood the streets with back-to-back projects during his decade-long career, Future surprisingly didn’t release any projects in 2021 except appearing on several albums like CLB. It’s very possible that the Atlanta superstar is working on the second installment of his 2014 classic mixtape, Monster.

He first teased the project in late 2020 when he posted a photo with Southside, Metro Boomin, and DJ Esco, who all contributed heavily to the original Monster production. Future simply captioned the post, “Monster 2?”

In January 2021, a photo surfaced showing Future rocking a customized varsity jacket with “Monster 2” printed on the back. Metro Boomin further fueled the album anticipation last summer when he posted two matching photos of two women tying Future’s shoelaces and his while teasing Monster 2 in the caption.

Founder of the Production collective 808 Mafia, Southside, names “Married To The Game” by Future, as his favorite beat he’s made.

Doe Boy talks ‘Demons R Us’ album with Southside, how he met Future & more

Doe Boy isn’t new to the music industry, but he knows he has more levels to reach. On November 6, Doe Boy and Southside teamed up to release their album, Demons R Us. Doe Boy has released a number of projects over the last decade, but he feels this is the one to put him in a different conversation. The crazy part is, this isn’t his debut album and the discography is steady growing.

“Actually got it from Southside,” Doe Boy tells me during our Zoom call conversation, explaining how the title Demons R Us came about. “We was working on the album and shit, we was just in Miami and I was locking in with him for like a whole week straight. Then we like ‘damn, what the fuck should we call it?’ But he had just posted a picture earlier that morning and the caption on the picture was ‘Demons R Us.’
