    SZA has much to celebrate besides the success of her latest album as her debut release, CTRL, has now sold over 5m equivalent album units in the US.

    The album hit music platforms in June 2017 with features from Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, James Fauntleroy, and Isaiah Rashad. It emerged at No. 3 on Billboard 200 with 60k units earned in the first week.

    It was promoted by the singles: “Drew Barrymore,” “Love Galore,” “The Weekend,” “Broken Clocks,” and “Garden (Say It like Dat).”

    The TDE crooner is getting ready to unleash the deluxe of 2022’s SOS, which she titles Tana.

    SZA is gearing up to drop ‘SOS’ deluxe

    SZA continues to tease Lana, the deluxe version of SOS, after celebrating the one year anniversary of the project. On Sunday (December 10), she shared on Instagram a series of potential covers for the release and in some of the posts, she sports a No. 15 jersey, suggesting that the project will arrive December 15.

    During a New York performance in September, the TDE singer revealed that “the deluxe is a whole ’nother album.” She added, “It’s called Lana. It’s seven to 10 songs and it’ll be out this fall.”

    The album, which was released on December 9, 2022 as SZA’s second studio effort, was certified double platinum on April 7. Boasting guest appearances from Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott and Ol’ Dirty Bastard, the album scored a massive opening week with 318K equivalent album units earned in the first week, sending it atop the Billboard 200, a position it held for ten consecutive weeks.
