Young Buck and 50 Cent Reignite Legal Battle Over $250,000 Debt

50 Cent and Young Buck are back in court, with Buck reportedly owing $250,000 to 50 Cent from a contract with G-Unit

50 Cent and Young Buck are once more at it with each other in court. Former G-Unit boss Buck is said to owe $250,000 to 50 Cent from a contract Buck had with the label, per Allhiphop. The dispute between the two parties over this debt goes back to a contract that he once had while recording with G-Unit.

Although they claimed it had been put to rest, and Buck purportedly sold music rights toward debt payments, the issue has resurfaced in Buck’s bankruptcy case. There is now an argument arising that the money has no evidence of being deposited into Buck’s account because accounting records lack that piece of documentation. G-Unit, on the other hand, admits its inability to provide documentation backing its claim.

Buck’s team is now requesting that the court dismiss the claim. Neither has there been a response from 50 Cent about the latest filing.

Buck has no foul comments on 50

Young Buck and 50 Cent have been at odds for years, but the former says he’s ready to extend an olive branch, only the former’s social media antics get on the way.

“It’s just one of those situations where a lot has been said and done from my end as well as his,” Buck explained on The Ed Clay Show. “We’ve never had the chance to sit down and talk like men, face to face.

“50 does a lot of things social media-wise so it tends to put us in a compromising position where our fans have to pick sides — they really don’t know the truth, they’re coming up with what they think it is.”

He continued, “And he has a bigger platform, so if he says this, then it seems like everybody immediately [thinks], ‘Oh, he’s right.’”

The Nashville native added that he has “nothing negative to say in regards” of the relationship between him and his former G-Unit comrade. He even shared his openness to “come back to G-Unit and tour and get money together.” However, Buck makes it clear that he has his reservations when it comes to signing a record deal with the group.

Young Buck hopes that one day he’ll have the opportunity to work with fellow Nashville artists. The rapper wishes to work with the likes of Yelawolf and Jelly Roll. However, there’s one particular artist he even had a dream of having a big hit with them, Taylor Swift.

“I had a dream that I got this big record with Taylor Swift,” Buck told Ed Clay on his self-titled podcast. “That’s always been something big of mine to be able to share a stage with Yelawolf, Jelly Roll, Taylor Swift and me. I think we owe Nashville something like that.”

Rozay continues to taunt 50 Cent

As Rick Ross and 50 Cent’s decade-old beef recently erupted, the former continues to target the latter. The Florida rapper hopped on Instagram stories this week offering to acquire Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo’s catalogs.

“I read yesterday that Young Buck’s catalog is worth 725K,” he said. “I can only assume that Lloyd Banks is worth about the same, so I say let’s keep it simple — throw Tony Yayo in there, I’ll give you 1.5 [million].

“I don’t need the entire G-Unit catalog but Beg For Mercy — let’s keep it simple, I’ll give you another 500K for the masters of that. So that’s two million dollars. I’m makin’ a business offer to the ‘diabolical genius.”
