Usher & Nicki’s record hits new milestone
Usher and Nicki Minaj’s “Lil Freak” attains a new status in terms of sales. According to Chart Data, the track has hit the platinum status after moving 1m copies in the US. The news come right after Usher’s performance at the Super Bowl Halftime show Sunday night (February 11) as a headliner.
The track was released in 2010 as part of Usher’s sixth studio album, Raymond v. Raymond. It was fairly well-received by fans and debuted at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached No. 40.
