XXXTentacion continues to make posthumous history
XXXTentacion passed away in 2018 right when his career was booming. He’d just released his sophomore album,?, which became his first No. 1 album. According to Chart Data, the project has spent 4 years on the chart.

“This albums not about the words, it’s about the feeling…it’ll be very hard to understand, but very easy to listen to,’’ the late Florida native said about the album. ‘’ …it’s not what you’re expecting, even if you feel like you understand my music, be prepared to not understand this music.”
The 18-track album had an impressive opening week with 131,000 album-equivalent units sold. Over 20,000 of these numbers were pure copies. It has since been certified platinum by RIAA.
