Producer Wheezy hints at a long-awaited sequel with studio snapshot

Fans of Young Thug and Future may soon be treated to Super Slimey 2, the follow-up to their 2017 collaborative album. Producer Wheezy recently ignited excitement by sharing an Instagram Story featuring ATL Jacob at the piano with a glowing neon sign reading Super Slimey 2 in the background.

While no official announcement has been made, the visual all but confirms the project’s existence. Originally teased in 2019, the sequel was expected to include Gunna and Lil Baby, though Gunna’s involvement is now uncertain.

The first Super Slimey debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, moving over 75,000 album-equivalent units in its opening week.

Meanwhile, Young Thug, freshly released from jail, has already made waves with “Dum, Dumb & Dumber,” a hard-hitting track from Lil Baby’s album WHAM. Produced by Wheezy and featuring Future, the song sees Thug addressing his incarceration with swagger and confidence.

The excitement surrounding Super Slimey 2 is a testament to the chemistry between Thug and Future, and fans eagerly await what this new chapter holds.
