Young Thug & Gunna Collaboration Leaks Amid Ongoing Beef Rumors

Fans React to New Song “I Went From” as Tension Between the Two Rappers Grows

A long-rumored collaboration between Young Thug and Gunna has surfaced online, sparking fresh speculation about their strained relationship. The song, titled “I Went From,” reportedly dates back to 2020, before the pair’s involvement in the YSL RICO case, and features both rappers reflecting on their rise from the “trenches” to winning Billboard awards.

The release of the track comes at a tense moment, as rumors of a beef between the two have intensified following Gunna’s decision to take a plea deal in the case. In the aftermath of Gunna’s plea, which led to his release from jail in December 2022, Young Thug has seemingly thrown shade at his former collaborator. On the recent Lil Baby track “Dum, Dumb, And Dumber,” Thug raps, “Never associate with a rat,” a line many fans believe is a subtle diss aimed at Gunna.

In response to these ongoing rumors, Gunna’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, defended the rapper, clarifying that Gunna’s plea deal did not implicate Young Thug in any way. Sadow emphasized that Gunna was not a witness in Thug’s trial, and his plea had no bearing on Thug’s legal situation.

Despite the growing tension, the release of “I Went From” serves as a reminder of the duo’s once-strong working relationship, leaving fans to wonder what the future holds for their collaboration.
